I have owned this item in the past and wanted to pick up a few extra since they are so incredibly handy and roll up so neat and compact.The actual Power Caddy 4 outlet , 25ft extension cord reel is incredibly useful allowing 10 amps and four outlets in a very sturdy and compact space which tucks nice into my vehicle when I need to bring multiple extension cables with.My issue was ordering the item as used/ like new.It came in the warehouse renewed plastic wrapped bag and you could clearly see it's not only broken but includes a broken piece from another cord reel.For durability standpoint, the other identical one that I've had for years has been on many work projects and never had any issues

For the price I paid, this is a very good product.I pack it with my large portable wheeled toolbox, to power light/medium duty drills, work lights, saws, etc.The orange status light is clear, and has helped me to quickly find working receptacles.The winding mechanism has worked flawlessly over several dozen uses.The cable itself has not kinked or twisted. Its flexible and supple without being too soft.The wire carries the current fine, and has not heated up at the plug ends or along the wire.The handle is comfortable and convenient.Caveat:Obviously, it not not heavy duty AWG wire, so don't use this for heavy AMP'd equipment.

I already have one and I love it so much that I needed another. So handy! Works great and easy to take with you wherever you may need an extension cord. I highly recommend it!

This extension cord is everything it appears to be. It's very useful in making available four outlets when you only have one to start with. Of course you have to be careful about not overloading the system. Other than that the cord unreels very smoothly but takes a little effort to roll up the core. Just go slow and don't rush. The cord and reel have the feel of good quality so I expect to get a lot of use out of it.

I produce product videos for Amazon. I need AC power in the studio and on remote shoots. I bring this guy along. It has four meaty plugs and rolls up and back very easily. Just what I needed at a fair price.

I needed to sit convection oven on porch (dont like baking in it over the summer inside), and this worked well for making a light to use for a 2nd outlet and then moving it as close as I wanted to the oven and table.

We have had an identical extension cord for at least 15 years and used it so much we wore it out. I was so happy to find the identical product. Hopefully it lasts as long as the first one did!

I purchased this product to use in a large indoor greenhouse for a classroom project. We were going to use this to plug in our grow lights. I especially liked the feature that would allow me to reel in the cord I did not need to have strewn across the floor for students to trip on. However, when it arrived packaged in a plastic bag, I opened the bag to discover that the back cover was not screwed on to the reel's box. Upon further inspection, I noticed that the back plate had actually broken off and still had the screws in the plate. This meant that the circuitry was exposed and was not wired safely. I requested a replacement for the broken product and Amazon promptly shipped me a new one. This was also delivered in a plastic bag. When I opened the bag, I noticed that this second identical product was broken in the same fashion. While I might attribute this to the delivery process and/or packaging, I am disappointed that this product cannot withstand the delivery process, with possible bumps and drops. In a school classroom anything can be dropped unexpectedly. I decided that this was not a product I could use due to safety concerns. I did not request a replacement. The product has a lack of functionality and lack of durability.. I would not recommend this product.
