The Magnificent Mrs Mayhew Paperback – 1 January 2019

I have just recently discovered Milly Johnson and I couldn't be more pleased. This book is an absolutely delightful read, a look into a woman's life who seems to have it all and yet lacks so much. I loved the plot and the way it progressed, gentle and almost, if I may say, mesmerising. I was hooked from the word go and stayed so till the very end. I plan to read all her books.

A drama about the perfect politician's wife that revealed a lot of behind-the-scenes drama that happens in such circles. I kept on picturing the protagonist's husband as Hugh Grant, thanks to Love Actually (the movie). This book is full of not so pretty truths but also sweetness and hope.

I loved the storyline, the author’s way or writing and everything about this book! I couldn’t put it down and I loved Sophie’s journey. Gonna read Milly’s other books too!❤️
