Lot of 6 Antique Wood Wooden Small Textile Bobbins Spindles Spools Colored Ends

I wasn’t sure about the sizes, as the photograph wasn’t very clear. But the individual pieces are great. There is some size variation, but it’s minimal. Several have a bit of paint, which makes them look more vintage. I had planned to use them as gifts for friends who stitch. They are a perfect size to add a stitched band, and also hold a pair of embroidery scissors. Would not hesitate to order from this vendor again

I was worried that I’d be disappointed when I received these spools BUT I am thoroughly pleased. These aren’t necessarily “antique” but seem to have some age to them. You can tell they were used for manufacturing at some point during their existence, as they show appropriate wear and tear to the paint finish and have some evidence of machine oil. The spools I received seem to be between 3-1/4” to about 3-5/8”. I’m also very pleased with the color selection I received. It will be the perfect component to add to some stitching.

I didn't pay enough attention to the length of the shank and ended up with spools that are too small for the fabric strip I have. I will reorder and get the correct size and use these spools for something else.

These look great in my decor. I wrapped vintage ribbons and unique floss around them for easier use but they also look beautiful when displayed
