Make sure you garage door is painted and doesn’t have any small dents or scratches because these magnet will make small blemishes on your garage stand out Iike a sore thumb. I returned mine since I had a smallll bevel on my garage door. As far as the quality, it’s just a floppy magnet

I’d seen a few homes in my neighborhood with replaced garage doors that none of our homes came with in our subdivision. So I brought it up to someone only for them to inform me that the windows in the garages I’ve seen weren’t actual windows, they’re appliqués , in other words, fake. I was floored! So hey, I decided to try this myself. And boy oh boy am I glad I did. First of all, I read the instructions that came in the package that clearly said the shinier side is not the side that attaches to the garage. Good to know. Then it said if you place the sheet onto the garage and the magnet seems weak then flip it over because you have it on the wrong side. Also good to know. With this information loaded in my brain I cleaned my application area and went to work. It was easy to me. I didn’t need to measure or anything. The first one was trial and error experience using eyesight only. Once I got it right as far as placement and spacing was concerned, I rolled right through with the other 7 applications. Once finished I was 100% pleased! I couldn’t believe how it really looked real when you stand back and from the street. Most people won’t think twice to see if they’re real windows, they’ll just glance and perceive them to be windows and move on. Whoever came up with this is BRILLIANT! This gave my home that something my curb appeal was missing. I am very happy with this product and yes, I highly recommend it. To be clear, these will not magnetize to wood garage doors. These only work on metal doors.

I liked that this looked good from far back but it looks incredibly cheesy within 20 feet or so. I took them off . I won’t return them because my kids like playing with them. You can see finger prints on them after you put them on. They do stick very well but after spending 5 years remodeling my house from top to bottom and putting on new siding, I’d rather put real windows in than cut corners by using these . All in all the price is well worth the effect if that’s what you’re after but like I said , close up I was not able to tolerate how cheap it looked.
