Better than stock hose and more flexible
This hose is a big improvement over the stock hose on my Rigid shop vac. More flexible and seems thicker. The stock hose got a hole in it although it did last several years as it was yanked around like a rented mule by my coworkers. Included fittings fit well.

Large diameter, well built, and handy, spinning feature
The media could not be loaded. I’m very satisfied with this hose. I had purchased a smaller diameter one but ended up returning that and getting this hose. It’s the same diameter as the standard DeWalt hose, but about 3 feet longer. It also has a handy spinning feature on the end of the nozzle to keep it from twisting, see my video.

Nice hose and accessory package
I bought this item to replace the hose on the Craftsman shop vac. This package has everything you need for replacement. The hose is three feet longer (10 ft.). It is much more flexible than the Craftsman hose. It's more comparable to a regular home vac hose. Most all shop vacs tend to have stiff hoses. This hose is made with a softer plastic. The package also comes with hose connections. The connections rotate which helps the hose from kinking. The connector for the canister port locks into the hose end. There is a connector that attaches to the other end of the hose to attach your accessories to. The end of the hose unscrews and the accessories connector just screws onto the hose. One thing I don't like are the poor instructions. I gave this item a 4 star instead of 5 star because of those poor instructions. Overall, a good buy which will make operating my vac much easier.

very tough but has no stretch in it
I wanted an extension to the included flexible hose to my new wall-mounted shop vac, hoping to be able to add it to my brand of vac, using the several adapters that I saw that it came with. Lo and behold, I was able to do just that, connecting it to the vac output end very snugly, whilst able to make to "splice" connection to the original "flexible" hose that came with the vac, creating an additional ten feet of reach to the nearly 20 ft. of reach using the original stretch hose. This hose appears much tougher than the original, but it is quite unstretchable, but has some flexibility, just enough to allow it to be stowed over my hooks. So far, it's made a real difference enabling easy reach throughout the 21 foot square dimensions of the garage, and since I mounted the vac very near the garage exit, it allows easy accessibility to the full length of any vehicle parked in the driveway within around ten feet from the garage door. I will say the vac is a Dewalt branded one with 5 peak hp and 4 gal water pickup capacity, just so you can get the whole picture. I think it's rather expensive for a mere ten feet of hose, but with the included adapters, it does allow significant value added to the wall mounted shop vac installation.Pics show joint details of the gray hose as it connects to the vac and to the end of the original hose.

WORKSHOP Wet/Dry Vacs Shop Vacuum Accessories WS17823A Long Hose Attachment
Fits my Ridgid WD4070 shop vac. The hose has different size attachment that connects to the shop vac. Test fit everything before pushing attachment into the hose. You will really have to push it in until seated it's very tight fitting which is good. Once seated it's very hard for it to come off. It's longer and better than the OEM hose. It's more manageable than the original hose and does not easily kink in my opinion.

Durable, flexible, and lighter than other shop vac hoses.
This hose makes all the difference. It is so flexible, no more struggling to maneuver around. It rotates at the wand end and at the vacuum end so there is a tremendous amount of flexibilty. The hose is excellent quality. I bought 2 of these for my DeWalt wet/dry vacuums. You will not be dissapointed.

GREAT 1-7/8" hose -- same as RIDGID "Pro" hose, very flexible, no kinking, great fit!
[UPDATE 8-23-2016: After a little over a month of very frequent use, I remain extremely pleased with this hose. It's an upgrade I should have made years ago, as it is so much more flexible and convenient that the OEM hose that came with my Ridgid 4-gallon shop vac.]This "WORKSHOP Wet Dry Vacuum Accessories WS17823A Wet Dry Vacuum Hose, 1-7/8-Inch x 10-Feet Heavy Duty Contractor Wet Dry Vac Hose for Wet Dry Shop Vacuums" is EXACTLY what I needed for my RIDGID portable shop vac (model WD4050, 4 gallon). In fact, this product is identical to the RIDGID-branded "pro hose," except gray (instead of orange) and less expensive. I've had my shop vac for over seven years, but only recently has its original stiff hose begun to crack. Now that I've replaced it with this upgraded hose, I realize I should've invested in this upgrade years ago.The principal benefit is that this hose is MUCH more flexible than the original black hose that came with my shop vac, and therefore much less prone to kinking. It also allows for slightly better suction in spite of being three feet longer than the stock hose--presumably because the improved flexibility prevents the hose walls from collapsing or even compressing to restrict the air flow. Basically, I now have three additional feet of reach, moderately improved suction, AND considerably reduced stiffness/resistance from the hose as I maneuver it around obstacles and into corners and crevices. Awesome. The fit of the attachments is quite good. On one end, I installed the collar with the black locking tab, which fits and locks snugly in place on my RIGID vacuum's port. On the other end, I installed an adapter with a "friction fit" collar that facilitates a snug connection to the wand attachment that came with my vacuum. Two other included fittings were not needed, but presumably allow the hose to accommodate additional sizes of outlet ports or attachments. Before installing them, I recommend that you test the fittings you need by matching them up to your shop vac and attachments. Once installed, they lock in TIGHT and are difficult to remove. Initially, I installed the collar with the red locking tab, but when it turned out to be too large for my RIDGID vac (the collar with the black locking tab was the proper size), it took a lot of force to pry it off the hose again. I can't imagine why other reviewers have had problems with their attachments coming loose. They must have other brands of shop vacs with more unusual attachment points. Whatever the case, the vacuum end of my hose will not come off by accident. Perhaps the friction fit collar that attaches to the wand will loosen over time, but only time will tell. At the moment, it fits so snugly, I doubt it will be an issue. The only issue I have noticed thus far is an inconsistent whistling noise emitted by the hose. It's not very loud, but plainly noticeable. However, it only happens intermittently. During several uses, I did not hear it at all. My guess is that it may be caused by a very small gap around one of the fittings or perhaps is an effect of the ribbed hose when it is held at a particular angle or curvature. The issue does not affect suction and usually, I can stop it simply by giving a tug on the hose and changing its position slightly. Not really a significant issue in my opinion, but something that may matter to others. All in all, this hose is a significant upgrade to any stiff plastic 1-7/8" shop vac hose like the OEM version that came with the RIDGID WD4050 portable 4 gallon shop vac. However, if your shop vac is equipped with a larger diameter hose (i.e., greater than 2"), I would not recommend this particular hose, as it may restrict airflow, reduce suction, and place greater strain on your vacuum's motor.
