Works great but stuck to box in one spot
Unboxed and had issue others reported. Either it was stored in a warehouse with leaking water, but most likely an issue with the cardboard glue missing in that spot of package. Took a little soapy water on a rag and it scrubbed off easily. Worked the leather a bit to stretch it and get rid of leather stretch noise. Also need to fasten it to wrist tight like it’s supposed to do it don’t slide. Release itself is super secure around D loop with no risk of popping open. Trigger pull was crisp right of box with no adjustments needed. Love the webbing connection on the release. I can tuck it under jacket cuff when I go to climb into the stand or flop it out of the way when doing things like pulling arrows.

Solid adjustable trigger
I was on the market for a release that would reliably handle the weight I was pulling. Heard too many horror stories of people knocking out their own teeth. The construction is solid with thick metal teeth that'll aide in controlling whatever weight you're pulling. The wrist strap is adjustable for the biggest of hands, I wear large gloves and I have my wrist strap set to the 2nd lowest hole. You can also adjust the overall distance the release protrudes from the wrist and I find that it's extremely comfortable to shoot even in those sessions where you've been shooting for hours. The trigger is light with no wall, helps you learn how to not jerk the trigger but be careful to not have your finger on the trigger while you draw. For how affordable this release is, this is one of the best performing ones out there for the price

Nice release
Seems like a nice release, shot at a few deer with it! Seems well made, I personally would rather a single caliper jaw, but this works great

Well Pleased
The release is a little more difficult to attach to the D-loop with gloves on than what I am used to. Not a huge deal. Overall seems to be good quality.

Exactly as advertised.Fits comfortably. Spring loaded, keeps the claw closed.Would buy again.

Its a Scott
I have owned three releases over the last 20 years, and every one of them has been made to last. I really like the rope style like this one because it hangs out of the way when you are hunting. I will never own a release other than a Scott.

Flops around
Two things I don’t like about this release is that it sometimes does not open when trying to attach it to the d-loop, also it does not have a stiff shaft causing it to flop around when not attached to d-loop and takes a few seconds to flop it in your hand before attaching it to the d-loop.
