Small and sturdy. Well made. I’d buy again
I bought several of these for Christmas gifts. Everyone liked them. They were all the same temperature as my house thermometer, so I feel that they are accurate. They seem made of sturdy plastic on the outside and hopefully they won’t break. The item is small so the temperature marks are a bit harder to see. If you wear readers you might have a hard time seeing the temperature. Wind chill chart is fun but I’m not sure how I’d measure the wind speed while I’m outside. Overall a great little thermometer and I would definitely buy them again.

such a handy thing
Had one of these forever and a day ago on my favorite jacket, such a handy camp gadget. The Acrylic face shield can take a beating, but the back panel with the wind chill chart is just a snap in panel.Still it's a great zipper pull on basically any cold weather gear. And I wish I had picked this up a couple years ago when it was 100+°F every day for three months.Heat sneaks up on you just as bad as cold.

It gives you an idea of the temp
Very difficult to read because it is so small. It seems to be very close in temp accuracy, so it was valuable and obviously much better than just guessing before heading out to hike, ride, ski, etc.

Very Tiny Markings Make It Difficult To Read Temperature
The markings are so tiny it is difficult to read, even for a 20 something year old with excellent closeup vision. The plastic cover doesn't seal & tiny particles get stuck inside, as seen in the photo. Sun Company also makes the digital thermometer in the photo, which is much easier to read, and can be switched from ℉ to ℃ in a millisecond and. Pros: No battery required, small & light, provides a general idea of the temperature with both ℉ to ℃, Cons: Very difficult to read precise temperature, dust particles get stuck inside & cannot be removed

scale labels too small
labels are unreadable by 65 year old eyes, lacking a magnifier. The large measuring range makes it very difficult to distinguish between temperatures in the range of interest. For example, I could easily guess the temperature is between 20 and 40, but the tick spacing within that range is so tight that it's virtually impossible to obtain a reading more precise than 5 or 10 degrees. Waste of money, as I promptly replaced with the electronic digital model by the same company.

Mini Thermometer a must for outdoorsmen.
Outdoors survival especially in colder climates, requires more focus on changing temperatures.Always have a mini thermometer close at hand!

Tony and compact
This is a perfect size, can fit right on your keychain. Little hard for me to see the temp at first glance but it is small so can’t knock it. I purchased this for hunting just so I knew the temp while I’m sitting. I can only assume the temperature reads properly. Has wind speed temp chart on the back which is super nice. I would buy this again

Handy
This little gem is an handy way to monitor the rising temperature as I work out doors.I supposed you could also monitor falling temps but that isn't a worry, since falling temps don't trigger heat stroke or heat exhaustion. ;)DOUG out
