Ordered 3 rolls of the brown velvet contact paper (from same seller) for a backdrop project but unfortunately 2 of the 3 rolls are a different shade of brown than the other. One is a dark brown and two are a reddish-brown, and all three are much darker than the product photo. Unfortunately I didn't notice the color differences until I had opened 2/3 rolls (my fault of course).Otherwise, product works as described and easy to apply. However, some of the creases in the velvet (from being on the cardboard roller) didn't disappear upon applying so there's creases even though it was applied smoothly with no actual wrinkles. Think this product would be best for lining inside drawers, cupboards, etc, where a few creases won't matter.EDIT/UPDATE: After my original 2-star review, the seller contacted me. I added an extra star for great customer service. Again, though, would not recommend for large projects.

Bought this to line the shelves of a second hand china cabinet, and it looks great! I subtracted a star, however, because, although others had said it was gridded on the back to help with even cutting, the roll I received had no gridding at all, making the cutting and application process less easy than it would otherwise have been. Also, whatever you do, don't let two adhesive pieces though. It absolutely destroys the adhesive if you have to pull it apart from itself. I had to throw a giant piece away because I made that mistake when trying to resituate it.

Easy to applysticks wellThinner than I would have thought, but this doesn't take away from the product.If you have any experience with contact paper, then you know that super thick products are hard to bend and secure around the corner of a box.The thicker the contact paper, the easier your flaws are noticed

The picture of the color is completely inaccurate. It was not a royal blue as pictured, we received smurf blue. Annoyed!

Bought this to line my dresser drawers with. Pretty expensive for only covering 3 of the 5 drawers. Also, the velvet is more like felt. Very thin and flimsy. Hardly velvety. Kind of a let down, but at least they’re going somewhere where they’re not seen or touched a lot. Just frustrating I have to spend ANOTHER 23+ dollars to finish one dresser. 50 bucks to line your drawers?! Lame.

This is a veryyyy nice felt that feels more like flocked velvet. It’s also a thicker fabric than other adhesive backed felt I’ve purchased. It’s a lovely deep emerald green, not bright.The only disappointment was that my particular role had a crease through part of the felt, which didn’t level out. Also, I need a bigger roll or lower price for this to be competitive. I made the purchase simply because I found no other green adhesive backed felt available. Pleased with the quality.

This is an amazing flocking velvet for replacing old dirty and unsanitary lining from vintage jewelry boxes. Easy to use and cut with a paper cutter, and repositionable if done immediately. dry fitting first is a must before removing the backing. I love this color, much prettier than the old green in boxes from decades ago.

The product worded great I refinished a dresser so I added this to the top drawer for that extra pop

I was supposed to receive a roll of 98" but mine was only 96". The cutting edge wasn't straight either. TheQ quality is just ok. It easily breaks and the line of break is clearly visible though for my specific application this doesn't matter. I haven't still applied the item so can't comment on the adhesion.

Beautiful jade green material, soft and strong. Nice weight. I used it to line the drawers in my new hutch. Very happy with the outcome.

I purchased to update a jewelry box, but ended up using a grey instead. Lovely light pink. I am sure I will use this one day.
