Waste of money 👎 not one single seed germinated.

Got these to try some larger gourds in the garden and to my knowledge, not a single one came up. Some of the other gourd seeds I ordered from the same company did sprout, and did well, but these just never popped up at all. They did arrive quickly and were well packaged, but I can't speak to the viability, they didn't work for us at all.

I have purchased seeds from this seller many times (here and off of eBay.) Prices and shipping are on spot, but every year I have found the germination rate to be sub-par at zero to 20% at best on giant gourd seed. The seeds look healthy, but I suspect they are old or harvested immature and do not meet germination % standards required for commercial catalog sales. I am a professional seed grower with 30+ years of experience. If you are willing to buy extra seed to account for germination loss, this seller does have some hard to source seed. But personally, I won't be buying from them again.

This was my first time growing an African Bushel Gourd. I learned that is has a very long grow season, like 180 days. Yikes, Alaska has a short grow season, so this may be interesting since I got off to a late start.I purchased 8 seeds, planted 1 seed and one germinated so I’m very pleased :) My goal was to get one viable plant started. I would buy from Robsrareandgiantseeds again, honest product description and quality product.
