For the price this is a great backgammon set. Comes with everything needed and is well built. Everything is wooden. The case, playing surface, checkers, dice cups, and even the dice. Small and portable but large enough to easily play on.The felt under the checkers is a nice touch as it helps keep the checkers from sliding around while playing a game.We've been really pleased with the set and it looks nice on the shelf with the rest of our wooden games. Other larger wooden sets were roughly 3 times the cost (much nicer sets of course) but this little set holds up and is well built. Highly recommend...

My Turkish brother in law challenged me to the game of backgammon last year when we visited them so I had been wanting to buy one and learn it myself so can play with him next time we meet. Decent sets cost over hundred dollars so I was looking for something economical but decent quality. This fit the bill.The case has a nice handle but the locks are a bit flimsy. Inside the finish of the board is really well done. Although the dice could have been designed better. The lighter color die had blemishes on it. The checkers were all well designed and had a soft pad underneath for easy gliding. Overall for the price this set is designed well and ready to provide with hours of family time. I'm already learning it with my daughter and enjoying this game.

I like that it’s natural for the most part except for the plastic pieces.Yet it’s very hard to see the darker color on the board. It should’ve been white and black maybe or a darker brown cause that pip is hard to see Against the background.Otherwise, it seems like a nice board! TY

The media could not be loaded. Not as ornate or as beautiful as those inlay Turkish boards but also a fraction of the cost! I am American but learned the game as a child from some Syrian & Lebanese neighbors and now 50+ years later I am still hooked! I have many boards and also a high end backgammon sitting table. I never owned a wooden board but played on hundreds of different boards. I love this board, especially for the money. This will be my travel/coffee board I take with me in the car. Always ready for a game…. :). The game of backgammon is over 4,000 years old! What other game can make that claim? Get a board and enjoy the ride…

Love the modern timeless design of this. Would love it more if it wouldn’t say„ Backgammon” in huge letters on the beautiful wooden case. Otherwise truly a beautiful set. Will definitely keep in mind to buy this again t ok gift.

It's not bad. Don't get me wrong. It's just not nice. It's made out of wood, but it's not well-crafted. And one (me!) should not expect 'well-crafted' at 30 bucks, lol.

It is well made. Has no defects. The weight is good. It is not the best high end product. And is not fair to do such comparison. If we compare it to products with the same price this is a good one. Also, It comes with extra dices.

It's delivered fast and ,The price is reasonable compared to the design,my husband added sections using his 3D printer to make it more easy to use
