I like taste , quality and flavor. Service was also fast and very efficient. Excellent taste .I think they should add more options with packages size and weight of herring .I would buy bigger packages. Bring more options !

Cost is high but the product is great.

A little fishy. I didnt realize they were packed in oil when I bought them. I got to make pickled herring. Added extra onion and lemon to the jar. Turned out fantastic. Perfect bite sized pieces of fillet.

First of all while I was waiting for delivery I found the exact product and was shocked at the price of the product. The same size and product was $3.49 for the same exact item and I paid $43.00 for two packages. I have the receipt to prove my claimWhen we ate the herring from the first package, the fish tasted very soft and slimy. After two hours my husband and I were sick in thebathroom. Needless to say everything got trashed and I would never order this from you again. A complete waste of $43.00

I was craving raw herring after coming back from Amsterdam but was surprised to find one pack of these to be overly expensive. The fish itself tasted extremely salty. I had to pair it chopped tomatoes and other non-salty ingredients to balance out the flavor. It was nice to relieve my cravings for Dutch street food, but I won’t be buying again.

Love the matjes herring but did not receive the chocolats
