I dont get it but ehh
My daughter is obsessed with these. Every time she turns around she wants a new one. This one has been her favorite. She wanted it specifically for so long. I don't get it but it makes her smile and she takes it everywhere

So cute
Chicken pox is so much cuter as a stuffy than as an infection. This was a hit.

Chicken pox is one of the cutest of all the GIANT MICROBES.
The chickenpox GIANT MICROBE takes the form of a white plush sphere, aboutthe size of a standard baseball, with a firmly attached red-colored ruffle, and two plastic eyes. The eyes are not flat like ordinary buttons -- they are more like hemispheres.Chickenpox is a great learning toy, because the real chickenpox virus actually has a ruffle going around it. This ruffle is visible under the electron microscope. For people who have the inclination to squeeze rubber balls, a some surrogate for smoking cigarets, I recommend the chickenpox toy. It can be squeezed repeatedly. Although I do NOT have any need to do this, I just noticed that chickenpox can be squeezed, and that it bounces back right away. The product comes with a cardboard label, and the label bears a 500-word introduction to the medical aspects of chickenpox virus. So far, I have about ten microorganisms from GIANT MICROBES. I have several of the bacteria, a couple of viruses, and the bed bug. Although I have not devoted any regular or ongoing attention to any of these things, I've had them for a few years, and am under the impression that they are sturdy, and do not open up, and do not fray. As far as learning is concerned, these will make a fine gift for children, providing that an adult with training in microbiology, biochemistry, or molecular biology, is around to bestow some sense of meaning to the child. Just for the record, I suggest that interested parents go to the web site of the National Institutes of Health of the United States government, and find the complete genome for chickenpox virus. This will facilitate efforts to explain the meaning of the viral genome, and of the collection of proteins encoded by the viral genome. FIVE STARS to this colorful plush toy.

Very best learning tools
I ordered 18 various Giant Microbes. I took all 18 in a large bag to a party I attended. Everyone pulled one from the bag. And that was all she wrote. People talked ALL night about my Giant Microbes. Some even claimed they had certain problems. Many laughed, cried, and fussed about diseases they thought they knew. The Microbes I explained have explanations along with a small picture of the actual microbe attached. What a great night that was. I will always be remembered for my Giant Microbes. Thanx Amazon!

Great gift for geeky people and kids!
We got the chickenpox and bed bug as a gifts to our friend'skids. The kids liked them very much, but the best part was to see their parents laughing their heads up when they saw the two gifts after we told them that we brought chicken pox and bed bugs with us to share with their kids.

Great gift idea!
I bought this as a gift and everyone loved it...they are super cute! And it's hilarious they phrases that come out of people's mouths when talking about the microbes. Considering buying for other gifts now too. It's fun since you can "personalize" the gift since there are so many to choose from. The size and quality is nice too. Not too small, but not a giant sized stuffed animal (despite the name). Maybe the size of your hand.
