Exact Fit For MAYTAG BRAVOS Washing Machine MVWX700XW2 Part Number W10006371 and about 1/3 the cost of an OEM part. Easy to replace (plenty of YouTube videos).This part does NOT come with any lubricant or sealant - I used plain old liquid dishwashing detergent as suggested in Whirlpool/Maytag technician in the YouTube videos.Not certain of longevity - I just need my washer to last a few more months. So, if it lasts that long, it's a very cost effective solution for my situation.

My washing machine was leaking a little water. Washing machines that take this style ring are junk, so I didn’t want to spend allot of money trying to fix it. I had grease, so I did not need a kit with grease. You do need grease to install. This ring worked exactly and fits right. Leak is gone.

Correct product

This tub seal was an exact replacement of the original. It comes in a 2 pack which is nice. As shown in my photos, it came pre-packed with grease. The metal ring in the center is there just for shipping purposes to keep the grease inside. Upon inspection there was a few small pockets where additional grease could be packed into the inner grooves so I added some more until it was full just to be safe. Another user commented that their washer began leaking shortly after installation. Not having that inner groove fully packed with grease could have been the reason for that. I also added some grease to the outer ring as well to lubricate it so it would fit into the tub easily. Installation was simple albeit a little time consuming but my washer no longer leaks. I have only done a few loads so far and will update in the future if it fails but honestly, I do not expect that to happen.

Using grease will make this last longer and have a better seal. Many recommend soap to install, but that dries up. The inside of the tire that's nest to the flange, has a groove that needs filling with grease. Had to replace bearings on the stupidly sealed transmission because of the water damage.To do that, drill the pinch welds and replace with screw / nut combination; then sand the shaft down above the flange and bearing and they will come out easily.

Purchased for Maytag Centennial washer Model MVWC415EW1.Seal fits the shaft but starts to leak again after about 15 loads of wash.Need to inspect shaft for rust and pits to see if that could be source of leaks. Product is made of very good material and should work.
