Good purchase for the price and performance
Great pan, held up nicely no warping or discoloration. Banana bread came out perfectly of course greased pan as directed. Very easy to clean no scrubbing needed, no scratches signs of having been scrubbed. A good purchase and the measurements are spot on. Price is reasonable compared to in store pricing. Definitely recommending.

Grease The Pan
This is a nice smaller pan if you don’t need to bake bread for a family. It’s great for one or two people. I bought it to use in my countertop Breville oven as it also will fit into an air fryer without burning the tops of bread loaves as my regular recipe does. It did the job nicely, but I didn’t grease the pan so it was hard to clean and I pretty much destroyed the bread trying to remove it. I think I will use parchment paper in the bottom next time, and lots of grease!

Good for Smaller Quantities
I use this small loaf pan for one pound turkey meat loaf and for smaller loaf bread or cakes. It is good quality aluminum which is good for baking because the sides and bottom of the product you are baking do not get too brown. Of course, it goes into the dishwasher which is very convenient.

Works as advertised and SIZE as advertised.
They figured out that gluing the label to it was a bad idea.

Can't "pan" this pan!
Over all, this lightweight pan is a gem. It cooks evenly and loaves have a lovely small rounded shape. I used shortening and flour rather than spray, let the quick bread sit in the hot pan for six minutes after it came out of the oven, and with minimal shaking the bread came right out intact. I usually under-cook my breads about five minutes less than the recipe calls for, which I did with the Fat Daddio pan. The results were perfect--a super moist bread. The depth of the pan is probably more than I need, but I don't consider it a minus. I measure by weight the batter that goes into the pan (one-pound loaves), so there was lots of space for the bread to rise. The top of the bread had a nice rounded look and was a lovely brown. The pan cleaned up easily with a bit of soaking. Other reviews complained that the bread stuck to the pan but mine didn't. Perhaps using shortening (Crisco) and a dusting of flour made my bread come out more easily, as opposed to cooking spray. I would repurchase this pan.

Best brand I've ever used
Fat daddio pans are, across the board, the best baking pans I have ever used. I am working on replacing all of my pans with this brand. I've thrown a pot of money at supposedly great pans, and none of them have impressed like these. They cook predictably. They aren't fussy. This one was no exception. In my experience, these are the best pans at ANY price point.

Everything sticks!
The pan itself is great. Good quality, thick, heats up well, no scratches or anything. But when they say it's not nonstick, they mean it. I've made paleo bread in it probably 5 times now, and each time I try something new to coat it (olive oil, avocado oil, ghee, etc.), and so far nothing has worked. When the bread is done baking, I have to poke around the edge with a knife just to get it to release from the pan, and then the ENTIRE inside of the pan is covered in the nice crusty edge of the bread. I'm going to try putting parchment paper inside next time, and if that doesn't work then this pan is going to charity and I'm going back to my nonstick just so I don't end up with a mess every time I want a sandwich.
