I have been using this device for nearly a month now and its solid.
So I didn't have the money to splurge on a new laptop and wanted a Budget laptop and reliable and fast! well, this device is a true bang for the buck and it performs !!I WOULD RECOMMEND TO THIS LAPTOP TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A BUDGET LAPTOP.This is renewed device but it came looking brand new.I upgraded the ram from 4GB to 8GB by adding another 4 GB stick.NOTE: This laptop allows you to swap out both ram sticks and you can get a maximum of 32GB installed in this laptop. HOWEVER, the INTEL i3 variant of this laptop can only get to a maximum of 20GB as the other ram is soldiered on the board. This Laptop has a SATA 2.5 Inch drive slot while the INTEL i3 variant doesn't.NOTE: If plan on using the 2.5 Inch SATA-3 then you will have to have the screws that screw into the hard drive as they didn't come in the box.The back-lit keyboard is nice and works great and the space where the touchpad is big enough for me to rest on, the build quality is great for the price.OVERALL I THINK THIS IS A GOOD LAPTOP FOR THE PRICE !!!UPDATE - Dec 2022It's been a little over 2 years since I purchased this laptop and it's still kicking as my daily driver.Maintainance: Once a year I clean the fan and change the thermal paste on the CPU.Upgrades:1. Originally I got the additional 4GB of ram installed that making the total 8 GB this is the first upgrade I believe you should do to make this laptop more usable.2 - Next I needed a bit more storage so I got a 2.5 SATA SSD and installed that.3- After 1 year of seeing this would be the main PC I upgraded the RAM to 32 GB this was just super helpful on daily use as google chrome eats up a lot of RAM. ** Just something to note when you install RAM the Vega Graphics on the CPU takes away 2 GB. So if you have 8 GB of RAM you can use 6 and 2 GB is reserved for the Vega graphics likewise if you install 32 GB 30 GB will be usable and 2 GB reversed for graphics.4. I upgraded the main Gen 3 NVME M.2 SDD to a faster Samsung 970 Evo plus again for more storage and as a faster boot driver.** NOTE: Here is where I was met with my first disappointment this laptop's Motherboard only uses two PCIE lanes for your NVME M.2 SSD so even though the Samsung Evo can go 3500 mb/s this laptop can only run it at a max say 1800 mb/s still fast and you won't really notice it anyway in boot time or opening programs just something to bear in mind when you are going on this upgrade path. ** You can buy Gen 4 Nvme M.2 drives and it will work just bear in mind you would be overpaying for the performance you won't get but if you plan on using it on another laptop or pc in the future and the price is good then get those drives. Conclusion: This is still a solid laptop for the price and durable and also easy to service for the simple tech person and even to non-techy persons.I still highly recommend it if you need a budget laptop just to get you by your day-to-day ( light gaming coding, photo editing, web surfing just not too much heavy workloads ) remember this is only a dual-core beast of a laptop.

This Laptop was worth Every penny!
I have enjoyed this laptop for several months now. It has worked beautifully so far. This was the 1st Refurbished product of this type I have ever bought. I was reluctant to buy someone else'sproblems.About my 1st week of owing the Acer, the monitor went black. I contacted support and they were quick to respond and offer repair or refund. 24 hours later I turned on the laptop and it was working perfectly and has continued to do so. ( hope I don't jinx it with this review). :)I am happy with the product and the company. It came with 10-S windows but it was easy to switch it to Win 10 so I can use my own apps. The Acer Aspire 5 AMD Ryzen 3200U slim silver body is lightweight and perfect for on the go. The Graphics card is able to handle my gaming needs for about an hour ....I stop by then to make sure i am not taxing the card.Only one Con: TouchPad is way too sensitive. No matter how I adjust it. the slightest pressure sends it off doing shit I do not want. So I attached an external mouse, works just fine. This baby is Bluetooth-ready. Enjoy!Update: 3-10-22 (Ordered on November 11, 2019 ) Sorry guys...NO Bad News. Still 5 Stars. The laptop is going strong. Still gaming WoW. I set an external fan under the laptop to keep her cool for long and I mean long hours of gaming. As for using the laptop for office work, it is perfect for that as well. When indoors I plug into my 85 inch U4K HD Tv for monitor. Or I can work outside on the patio with excellent wifi and Bluetooth range. Just wanted to let you know.....Still 5 Stars. And I got a notice for a free upgrade to Win 11.Worth Every Penny!

Good budget laptop
First impressions are good. I'd suggest getting yourself a 2x8gb 2400MHz ram kit. I got the Vengeance from Corsair. I'd also highly suggest either adding a SSD or upgrading the m.2 ssd to a much better unit. The one included is cheapest one aviliable and is the lowest preforming SSD out there. I put in a 250gb Samsung Evo SSD.The 2 core 4 thread Ryzen is a good little APU for this use case. I got it for school projects and web browsing. Tried Fortnite @ medium settings and it struggled to say the least but it was playable. It has 5GHz WIFI and looks pretty good given the price point. The keyboard though not as large as your typical keyboard does have a number pad.Overall it seems like a good pick as long as you understand you will need to upgrade a few things. I did see crucial sells a 16gb Memory and a 500GB SSD bundle that would work for this.
