Highly recommended
I was kinda skeptical about getting this due to some of the reviews, but I am so glad I did. I don’t even see where the bad reviews come from now that I have it! My son does great with it! It stands well on its own, some reviews say it falls over, I’ve never had this issue. It does need to be cleaned frequently due to odors (obviously) but this works amazingly for a child who isn’t quiet tall enough to reach the big toilet by themselves! I highly recommend it and will be using it for my youngest when he’s ready as well!

My son never misses.
I prefer this Peter Potty one. My two year old has been using this since he was 1. He never misses and you don't have to hug toilets to clean later. No wall sprays! No mess anywhere! It stays clean with each flush if you add a simple water cleaner solution. I wish I had this with the other two. Plus it's so simple to teach them. Just stand them in front and tell them to go. It's like hitting a tree for them outdoors and he feels like the big boys. It depends on your kid if they flush all the water out. Mine flushes twice. It's his reward for going so I don't mine if he flushes it more than twice. It holds a lot of water and the green container is huge enough to support all the flushes and uses. I prefer the stand because we may move it from one bathroom to another depending if we are on one side of the house more. The height adjustment is perfect for when he grows. I love this and the huge curve out. My son never misses!!! Search FB for my video review as well. I'm buying these now as gifts. After completing my review and over 11 million views on FB. I would like to ask Amazon, LLC to lower the price back down to 59.75-59.99. I did a review for this product and directed people to this page. There has been over 11 million views on FB. I want to make sure those I'm referring will not receive price increases.

Works great for toilet training boys... but would be better with a few tweaks.
We have been using this for about a week now. At first I was completely against teaching my almost 3-year-old to pee standing up, but after several incidents where he he straight off the toilet and honest with me, I had to rethink that approach. Add to that, the fact that when he sits on the little potty and then gets up, a lot of times the potty insert sticks to his legs or becomes unstable and spills...so we tried the urinal approach. When he first saw it he was a little confused. It took me about 5 to 10 minutes with him before he figured out what to do with it. At first he was very hesitant but once he realized what it was ... it became his best friend. He loves the fact that you can hold the button down and water flows into the bottom. After his first use he returned to it at least 10 times within the next five minutes. I seriously did not know how he still had any liquids in him. He did try to sit down on it a few times but I put a stop to that instantly. He understands now that you cannot sit on it. I would definitely recommend putting a towel underneath it at first, or for as long as you think it necessary. One week of practice and his aim is still not so good. He often pees right off of the side of it. Also we have had one episode where I forgot to empty the drawer and it has overflowed. This was completely my fault. The drawer is adequately big. For us, when I have to refill the top flushing water reservoir I generally empty the bottom too and it's only 1/2 way full.We have had a difficult time potty training. A lot of the time my toddler does not want to go because he does not want to be bothered to stop what he's doing. With the urinal it's not really an issue. He likes the independence the urinal gives him, he likes the button to flush it...all in all this was a win for us. Also I am at a tiny bit of cleaner when I refill the water reservoir at the top. Since my son is an 'over-flusher' emptying the drawer is not disgusting at all. It is 70% cleaner and water from the flushing resavoir.Cons: He can hold the button down and drain the entire top reservoir. That is one reason I took off one star. I think the manufactures of this could make the button to where it on the releases a small amount of water and is not one continuous flow... also the urinal can actually be mounted to the wall. However the hardware to mount it does not come with it. I believe you can purchase it separately. I think that is weird, I think it should come with it.The urinal is plastic and I have it leaning against a wall. I don't think it is very steady on it's own feet by itself, but against the wall it hasn't been an issue. My 18-month-old has noticed it and tries to play in it every chance he gets. He has not pulled it over yet. I do think it is possible that he could but I have caught him every time he has tried.

Educational, not just functional
My three year old loves this urinal. The water storage and urine receptacle are viewed as "gadgets" and "magic," creating fun opportunities for my son to learn about the plumbing process. This product has removed all of the tension from potty training. Prior to purchasing the Grow'n Up Peter Potty I would ask my son if he needed to go the restroom and he would yell "no" and run upstairs or he would kick at me as we fought our way to the toilet. He hated going to the restroom, which increased my anxiety. He took to this urinal right away. His behaviors changed immediately and I could see his excitement and wonder promote interest in going to urinate. We did install decal wallpaper in a 3'x3' area behind the urinal, for added wall protection. Automated soap dispenser at the sink has also helped keep this gadget-wonder-potty experience moving in the right direction.

If you have a boy get this!
It’s great. It’s easy to fill. No batteries. Easy to empty. I put a dinosaur sticker that’s black and when my son aims on it you can see the dinosaur. He loves it! Worth every penny.

Overall good product.
This potty works as advertised but will sometimes fall over if not propped against a wall. Also there is no way to secure the water reservoir so the little one can take it off and spill the water. Overall good product.

Almost perfect
My absolute favorite potty! My toddler goes to use the bathroom on his own without making a mess. Downfall, if you don't empty it in time it overflows making a huge nasty mess. It would be so perfect if it pumped straight into the big toilet with a hose!

The idea is great, but there is no hole in the bottom ...
The idea is great, but there is no hole in the bottom of the urinal for the urine to drain through into the holding container below the urinal. I called customer service and sent and email to the company to find out if I just got a defective one or if I'm supposed to do something to make it work. Otherwise the pee and the flushable water just stay in the urinal. It's also very light and falls over, but you can Commando strip it to the wall.
