Our three year old grandson's first Lincoln Logs were a success. He opened this Santa gift and played for an hour. These never go out of style and brought back great memories for four generations of family.

My grandson loves this set. He plays for hours with it. This set is how I remember Lincoln Logs when I was a youngster.

I bought this Lincoln logs set to my son together with  LINCOLN LOGS - Lake Union Lodge - 88 Pieces - Ages 3+ - Preschool Educational Toy  and  LINCOLN LOGS - 100th Anniversary Tin - 111 All-Wood Pieces - Ages 3+ Construction Education Toy .This Oak Creek Lodge is the only one to include door and windows, which are a very nice addition. The door can actually open/close. Be aware that there is only one door and three windows, so the cottage in the pictures does not have windows in the back two walls (which I found a little misleading). The cowboy figure can mount/dismount from the horse.Other than that, it is a great toy same as the other sets. My son enjoys making structures, and now that we have given him all of them, he has plenty of pieces to become creative. I do recommend to get the tin can, which is large enough to store the pieces from the three sets I own.

These are great but I wish I would have purchased the bigger box. Their isn't alot of building options for this specific box set

My grandson loved these as a birthday gift, he is 7.I also bought a little case for him to put his logs in when he was finished playing. That way the pieces are all together and don't get lost.
