SomaBPA-Free Glass Water Bottle with Silicone Sleeve, Sapphire, 17oz

I work in a place where we have no convenient break room, no fridge or microwave - so if I want something to drink, I either waste a lot of cups or I bring my own container. I tend to prefer the latter. So I thought I'd give this a shot. Overall, it's not too bad. I like the wood top - adds an elegant touch. The silicone sleeve makes it super easy to grab and hold, and very comfortable to use. I haven't dropped this (yet), so I don't know how well the glass holds up. I'm sure it will happen, and probably sooner than later, since my teenage son washes the dishes and his sister puts them away. Give it a few weeks ;)The one *huge* con (in my book) about this water bottle is the neck. It's just thismuch too small for me to get ice cubes into it. And again - with no access to a fridge, ice is how I keep my drinks cold, particularly in a bottle that is not insulated. That one thing will keep me from using it as much as I would otherwise, and will keep me from getting another should this one ever break.

The bottle was the correct size as stated, but I personally found it to be much smaller than I wanted, or even expected.The quality of the materials being used are exceptional, but the design is the problem. It's fairly difficult to clean, due to how narrow it is.Had it been scaled up 2 or 3 times, I'm sure I'd use it everyday.

Call me old fashioned, but the price of this bottle leaves me with my mouth hanging open. It's a nice bottle, no doubt. It's glass. The lid fits nicely and it doesn't leak when placed on its side. I like the silicone encasement, it keeps my hands from getting cold and helps keep my water cold. The size is perfect for me,...I can't imagine how heavy anything larger would be, (the 25 oz) because it has some weight to it. There's really nothing wrong with it other than the price. I'd pay 15$ at the very most,...never $30.

BPA free glass? Who would have thought? Seriously, of course it’s BPA free, glass doesn’t have BPA. Well I guess the inside of the lid is plastic… Anyway, all joking aside, this is a quality, heavy duty glass bottle, with easy to open wide mouth lid that seals tight with no leaks even when you lay it down in a lunch bag. The silicone wrap makes it easy to hold on to and may even protect it if you drop it; maybe not though, so don’t drop it. Fits in my Prius, and Ram 1500 cup holders, as well as my backpack sleeve. The Sapphire color sleeve is colored exactly as pictured.

I had a glass bottle that I loved for when I wanted to add citrus oils to my water, but it shattered because it didn't have a silicone sleeve and slipped right out of my hand. I've been looking for a replacement for a few months, and am very glad I held out for this one. The bottle is narrow and tall, fitting well in all of my car's cup holders. It holds 17 oz., which means I only need to refill it about five times a day. The silicone sleeve is permanently attached and washed well. All in all, I think this is a bottle that will be my go-to for a long time.

Flavor? Don’t know about that, but, for me, it was the water bottle I needed at bedside for that drink of water during the night. I don’t like drinking from a metal rim, so the glass rim was perfect. The color was also perfect, and it didn’t take up much room on my nightstand. Very pleased!

There is plastic inside of the bamboo lid. I bought the bottle for the sole purpose of avoiding plastic, mostly to avoid its endocrine/hormone disrupting properties. But guess what, there are 7 commonly used types of plastic, and the plastic that has been snuck into this product is not specified. This is of outmost importance, because plastics have different properties and react differently to heat, leeching more or less chemicals into the water. You failed to list the criteria that was most important to me. 1 Star.Why is this important? Absolutely love this product, recommended by a friend as I was admiring the look of theirs and I am not at all disappointed by my purchase (mine is a Sapphire 480ml) - really high quality look and feel and lovely to drink from as made from glass not plastic. Been knocked over by my kids a number of times and still going strong - a fab bottle - would highly recommend.

The water bottle is made of thick glass and has a solid but smooth finish to the bottle. The Rubber cover also has a great quality feel.The bottle has been carried in my handbag for days and it is totally leak-proof bottle.Cleaning is also very easy with the wide neck but feels so good to drink from!The solid rubber cover makes you feel very confident that it will not smash, it looks fab when you are out and about. I’ve added the carafe to my birthday list!

This water bottle ticks all the boxes for me. It looks beautiful and smart as well as being really easy to keep looking sparkling clean (unlike many of my other grubby looking ones) as it goes in the dishwasher. The glass looks and feels robust and it has happily withstood being carted around all over the place in my handbag - still looks good as new. Such a pleasure to drink out of glass rather than metal or plastic, I highly recommend this water bottle.

Water is so much nicer out of a glass bottle and it seems sturdy enough to cope with a bit of rough and tumble. Really nice wide spout.
