Hardly i EVER or never write reviews, but since it was a last minute order for Halloween i was afraid of the quality since i was going for an original “house of the dragon” look. I’ve always spent good money on costumes and i do believe you get what you pay for 🤷🏻‍♂️, so this product was really good and i was impressed on the quality of it. Compliments were left and right, but i also added Black Swarovski elements to the coat in jet hematite, and pure black. Overall I think the product was good for a Halloween or theatrical outfit. Make sure you take into consideration the weather because its best for cozy or winter weather since it’s pretty warm if wearing outside👌 and it fits exactly as a US size. I’m glad i ordered a Small because asian size small is usually a large. I’ve been an amazon customer for over 7 years and have had my fair share in sizes since lots of my clothes comes from them (amazon). So 4 stars only because its a good size small, but not SLIM so if you’re really skinny go for an XS and because the buttons are only decor, it does not button like a real trench coat.

First, I should have taken the seller's advice to order one size up. I read several reviews that said they needed 2 sizes up. So, I ordered a XXL for my size L husband. It was enormous. I returned it and re-ordered in an XL. It is roomy, but looks fine. Second, the quality of the materials and construction were really very good (I am a seamstress). I think that some reviewers were not looking at this as a costume. If you want a dress coat like this, you should expect to pay WAY more than this. Billy Butcherson is going to rock this coat for Halloween.

Love this jacket! My husband used it for the Darkling costume and it was perfect. Really nice quality for a costume piece. For sizing, I'd say stick to your true size. It's not meant to button; the buttons aren't functional. At first we ordered a size up because of other reviews, but it was bulky and too much. So then we sized down to his true size and it looks great!

I purchased this for a show- playing a 17th century English lord with a keen fashion sense. It worked well BUT a couple of things. There are multiple sellers with essentially the same item and a big range in price. Same item, some with free Amazon prime shipping, some without and about a $30 swing in the price depending on the seller and the size.Most important- they do not run true to size at all. I initially ordered a men’s medium that was way too small- more like a kid’s size. I had to return and re-purchase. This time I went through a different seller, ordered a men’s XL because the “medium” was so small I did not want to take a chance on the large. The XL was huge on me but probably would have been small on a large man. (I’m a average sized female.) Even though I was essentially swimming in the coat, I made it work because I didn’t have time to play around with the return and re-purchase process and who knows what a “large” would have looked like. So good luck estimating what size to order because there’s really no telling what you will get.The coat itself is pretty well made although a button fell off- not a big deal to sew back on. The color is rich and vibrant and exactly what I needed for the character. The details are reallynice too. The coat is unlined, and the pockets and buttons are just for show (the coat hangs open) but perfect for a theatrical costume.

Used as part of a Halloween costume, so did the trick for me. Now it will hang in the closet until another use comes about (or another halloween party) If you're wearing this for another occasion, it might not hold up very long, and as others have said the buttons are unusable, which didn't matter to me.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well this fit! Often imported clothing is undersized for me. I'm 6'4" and 275lbs. This fits great! The black material is thick and has a beautiful pattern. The pockets and buttons are nonfunctional, it is a costume.

Fits true to the size chart I'll give it that. Quality is not great. Loose threads. Fake pockets and there are absolutely no button hole. You can't do it up at all.
