Great bath sized Turkish towel (turquoise) Beautiful color and nice weave
Bath sized towel was beautiful, no complaints, 5 stars for everything--even softness, b/c Turkish towels aren't really "soft", especially when new. Beautiful colors, generous size, nice looking and strong, durable weave pattern. I would buy a couple more if it was in my budget. As it was, I was hesitant to spend $ on something I didn't "need" (i have a few really old towels), but I am glad I bought the two that I did.Am Going to paste my review below for the "matching" hand towels, because the quality was a bit lower, if I hadn't washed them, I probably would returned 1 of the 2 packs I bought."color was nice, product as advertised. However, even for an expected-to-be-thin Turkish towel, the texture and quality was just flimsy. I'm thinking the herringbone weave makes a difference..but also there are seams on the sides which draw up a little and make it look like a cheap product from China. I have only washed/hung them (no dryer) and have not yet used them, so can't comment on absorbency, but being 100% cotton, I am sure they will absorb enough for hand washing. The bath towels, on the other hand, were great! Same color/brand, Smyrna Turquoise, but weave was (diamond?) and much sturdier, without the weirdly rolling seams along the sides. I can't say the hand towels are terrible--they are adequate--but compared to the bath sized towels, they are strangely cheap looking It seems like they'd be similar quality/consistency.

Great towels
Love these towels ! They dry quickly and the colors are beautiful! I have several colors and rotate out with rugs to change the look . They’re super lightweight and easy to take for beach days or water aerobics . Love the boho vibe they give in my home

Prefer over Wet Cat brand
If you are trying to decide between this and WetCat, I ordered both. I prefer this one. We are using them as bath towels. These towels are not plush, of course, but this one is thicker and more textured than the WetCat. The fringe knots were definitely tied tighter and I expect it will hold up to laundering longer. It shrunk significantly when I washed it in warm and tumble-dried, but it is still MUCH larger than a typical bath towel. It wraps completely around my not-small physique, falls below my knees and has plenty of room to tuck it in at the chest. It’s also quite beautiful and looks lovely hanging on my towel bar. It air-dries very quickly, even in humid MS, which is why I chose a Turkish towel over plush. I’m going to purchase more and eventually replace all of my towels! UPDATE: Jan 2025…nearly 5 years later and the towels are still used daily, washed regularly and are softer and maybe slightly faded (but honestly look just as good since the color is variegated anyway). I’ve since purchased more and and also a couple of their throws, which are identical to the towels but larger. Would recommend without hesitation!

Great throw…not so much a towel.
The fabric of this is great, it’s soft and looks nice. I bought three to use as camp towels since they roll up so small. Unfortunately, they’re not super absorbent. For body they work ok, definitely not great but they’ll get most of the water off so you’re just damp - but for hair expect it to stay sopping wet. Even trying to squeeze my hair into the towel and using every bit of dry area I could, my hair was left dripping at the ends.As a throw for sitting on like a picnic or beach blanket, you can’t go wrong - but if you need a towel this probably isn’t the best one.

How to:
These are the most amazing towels once prepared properly... wash in cold water 2-3x to loosen up the fibers before use. If it has cotton, it will shrink a bit in the dryer and it looks like these do.They store in smaller spaces; look nice; are bigger than regular towels; arent bulky on the body; stays up when you tuck it to do makeup, hair & teeth.I love Turkish towels so much!

Pretty towels
I love these towels. I've had them for a few years. Guest always gives complement. We mostly use them for decoration. They have been used with the yoga mats a few times. We don't usually use them for bathing purposes but do use them often at beaches.

Lots of Lint
I bought the green and the purple for a trial run at Turkish towels. The colors are pretty close to what you see on line and they seem to be well made. These were my first Turkish towels and I have to say that if they are all like this, I am not a fan. I was looking forward to a thinner fabric (thinner than a trad towel) that would dry quickly and not hold odors. These are definitely thin. I washed and dried them immediately. Upon first use the bathroom floor and tub were covered with dark lint as well as my damp body. Ew. They are very long but not much wider than a traditional towel so it's difficult to keep the ends from dragging in the wet tub while you're toweling off. The length made it hard to wrap around my wet hair. The fabric is thinner than I expected and was saturated quickly although I suppose it dried me off sufficiently. As I said before, it left lots of lint on everything which had to be cleaned up afterwards and, honestly I felt like I needed to rinse off my body too. While they looked nice in the bathroom and do indeed dry faster than traditional towels, I think they are a NO in this house. At least as bath towels. They are nice looking so can be used as a table covering or a wrap on a chilly day. These are not what I would call inexpensive ($50+ for two) so this was a pricey experiment.Bottom line...I would not recommend these as bath towels unless you are a Turkish towel user already and know what you're getting.
