Rubies Adult Long Fingered Costume Gloves, Black, One Size for Themed Parties and Halloween

LOVE these gloves! I purchased these for my best friend -- he is doing a kind of dark Venetian witch kind of drag, and these were perfect.* PointinessHonestly, after reading most of the reviews, and while we waited for the gloves to arrive, we speculated about how to make them pointier, make them look more like the picture. My favorite idea was take a small circular piece of thin acetate and curl it into a point (like a little megaphone), inserting that into the fingers, then add cotton as needed to hold the acetate in place.* Great Creepy Style and LookBut we apparently lucked out and got gloves that work just beautifully on their own. These are Halloween costumes after all. They're not designed to last forever, or even to look perfect. But truly, for this price point, these gloves are excellent, create a wonderful creepy style that makes people look twice.* Stuffing Varies; Handle With CareI would guess that the amount of cotton in these gloves can vary. Some are great, some need a bit of tweaking. The fabric is nice, has a whips n’ chains vibe, yet nice and soft on the inside. I plan on handling it carefully, and handwashing in cold water, drip dry.* Size and Fit, Male and Plus Size TooAlso, the size is an issue for some. My friend is a skinny male, tall, and these gloves fit neatly, tight but not too tight, and they go up almost to the armpit. A slender woman will probably find these gloves a little loose. I wear a size 3x and have larger arms. The glove was looser in my hand and wrist, and while I was able to get the stretchy glove over my upper arms a bit, it looked NOT attractive. (Like an opera glove muffin top! )As a big girl, I’d wear this glove pushed up to just below the elbow, and rumple the fabric for a ruched effect.I do love these creepy witchy gloves, they look great on my friend and he's very pleased with them (and let me tell you, making a fussy drag queen happy with clothing is tough!). I purchased these gloves as an accessory for a demon costume this Halloween. They appear to be well-made, with no loose threads. The fingers are long enough to be creepy-looking, but not so long that you won't be able to pick things up or use your hands. In the end of each finger, there is a small amount of fiberfill to fill out the extended part of the finger. I didn't think it was quite enough stuffing, so I added some cotton from a cotton ball to make the fingers a little firmer, and that seemed to help greatly. These gloves are crazy long. I have long arms, and I can pull them up to my armpits. My costume has elbow length sleeves, so I only need them to go past the elbow, and it's not a problem for me that they are so long. The only negative aspect for me was that the gloves fit too loosely around my wrists and tend to wrinkle and bag there. (I do have small 6" wrists.) If you're looking for a sleek, sexy look, this may not work without altering the gloves to fit better. Also, there is a seam between the wrist and elbow areas that you can't see on the picture. (Looks like the gloves were originally just above wrist length and more material was added to make them extra long. I doubt that is true, I'm just trying to describe the seam.) Nevertheless, these will work wonderfully for my costume.

This was for my daughters Halloween costume she is a small 10 year old and it fit as I hoped. She is 4"8 and 82 pds. She was the puppet from Five Nights and Freddy's and we got most of her costume from Amazon. The fingers were not very full so they bent a little. we just added cotten balls in each finger. The where very creepy looking but got the affect she wanted. Ill add a pic but its hard to see her hands. The arms where also very long since these are for adults. we just folded them over. These where much cheaper than the Halloween stores.Just had to order them in time to get them before Halloween. They arrived about 2 weeks earlier than I was told they would so i was happy.

A great idea (I thought) but the fingers are so LONG that NO woman's fingers can fill them, leaving the wearer with a Grinch-like grip in these gloves that no hand can fill - the fingers will be left 'empty' by any woman wearing these, so beware.

I got these for a halloween costume and thought they would be longer and pointier. The hand part is really large, but the arm part fits fine (goes past the elbow), the fingers are filled with stuffing and you can see your finger outlines in them. They’re funny but if that isn’t the goal then I would pass on them

I purchased these for a cosplay, and I have to say I'm extremely disappointed. The fingers are not firm and don't hold their shape well, but I was expecting that. Both gloves have holes along the seams, and on one glove the fingers are sewn such that the apex between the pinky and ring finger is about half an inch higher that all of the other fingers. They fit loosely and awkwardly around my hands, which are fairly large for a woman, in a way that will take some extremely creative sewing to fix. I rarely leave bad reviews, but these are just awful. Trying to decide if it's even worth it to pay the shipping to return them. I may try to fix them myself, only because the extra long pointed fingers are necessary for my costume.

Really creepy, perfect fit. The gloves "hug" my hands and arms so they're very long but they fit great.Comfortable too. Light weight.

Fingers needed some adjusting of the filling but worked out great for Nosferato costume
