This was recommended to me in a YouTube video, and it performed perfectly for straightening and cleaning the fins on my A/C evaporator core.

Not sturdy and didn't work very well for our AC

So I know some of the reviewers here state that the combs are stuck together and therefore it doesn’t work but that’s by design. I partially blame the packaging for not describing the use of the tool and adding to the confusion.If your AC fins are in truly horrible shape nothing will help save it but these worked for me!

Please have the seller contact me. The brush is defective with all the teeth stuck together.

Returned, the fin brush was too large to properly work on my AC unit. Great idea.

As an hvac tech, this gets used often in the summer on condenser coils. It does work well for the price you can't beat it. The key is, you need to use a pair of pliers and break apart/loosen up all the little straightener rods before use or you will damage the coil fins. It seems that these are made/shipped with thin glue to hold them all together before use. Just break it all apart before use and the tool works well. I noticed many gave this a bad review as they clearly didn't notice this before trying to use it.

This little tool has worked great for keeping our AC fins clean and straight. We get a lot of wind that likes to throw branches at our window units and pinch the fins. The teeth on this tool slides right between and straightens them back out and also cleans any dust or residue.

I fixed mashed a.c. aluminum vents. They cant return to their pristine perfection, but this tool opens them up so there can be proper air flow. I was afraid they were not fixable but this easy to use and affordable tool proved me wrong.
