Cool train only thing I wish it was compatible on was wooden tracks. For the most part it is unless you’re using ascending tracks the back wheels don’t make contact with the tracks so you have to give it a lil nudge. I’m ok with it but my toddler would disagree here. They’re the boss I just work for their pleasures in life.

Great Shinkansen for any Trackmaster and train lover layout
My son and I are so happy with this new Shinkansen for our Trackmaster layout. It has 3 setting. OFF / LOW and HIGH. If you run it on HIGH you will see why a the train is called a bullet train. It is Super Fast. On the LOW setting it does have some difficulties going up the elevated tracks on a trackmaster layout, but on HIGH it might fly off the rails.This is a great item.Highly recommend it.
