Great book, but not for beginners
This is a good book. It has lots of origami patterns. The graphics are clean and make it fairly easy to follow the instructions. That said, there are parts of the instructions which I find to be unclear or that could use a little elaboration. This could, however, be due to my lack of origami expertise.I am a moderately skilled origami hobbyist. I have made moderately complicated designs before, but nothing like this. This exceeds my current skill level. It is going to take a lot of practice to be able to reproduce these designs. So be careful of your expectations with this book. If you are already a skilled origami practitioner, good on you! But if not, then don’t get your hopes up that you’re going to be able to get this book and whip up a bouquet of roses for your beloved in a few days. It is almost certainly going to take some time to successfully reproduce these patterns, let alone master them.If you’ve never done origami before or the only experience you have is pretty basic, you probably aren’t going to want to start here. There are a lot of easier patterns out there that would allow you to work your way up to eventually being able to complete these patterns, if you wanted.Anyway. The author’s work is impressive, as expected. The book gives generally clear instructions and even includes explanations of basic folds (like how to make the standard origami bases) in the beginning to reference in case you’ve forgotten (or, like me, never had them all memorized). But make no mistake—both skill and patience will be needed to reproduce these designs.

EXPERT LEVEL BEWARE
This is like expert level origami, and I was not expecting that. I'm someone who needs step by step folding, and this just had diagrams for all the fold lines

Very realistic and challenging, but feasible
These are hyper-realistic models! The instructions and assembly chart are overall very clear. Materials suggestions are a great touch, as most of the materials recommended are easy to find. I really enjoy the combination of diagrams and photos The only downside is that the very first model can be a bit frustrating to look at, as its photographed steps are with light yellow paper, nearly eliminating the contrast between light and shadow, so I had to squint a bit.

Amazing book!
I love this book! I don’t have to watch some videos about how to make the folds but that’s because I’m a visual learner. After learning the fold types this book is amazing!! I love all the different types of flowers I can make!

Decent Book, Some Promising Designs but not Great
I am honestly a little underwhelmed! I have known how to fold kawasaki roses for some time and was expecting that but these roses are different. They are sort of hollow. I will probably need to fold leaves to get the full effect. Still, the diagrams are a little strange honestly. Id prefer illustrations all the way through. If I have better success ill post an update image otherwise idunno.

Stunning flowers, but very difficult
Knew these would be a challenge going in, as the roses are absolutely beautiful, but wow are these tough! I'm a highly experienced origami artist (more than 15 years experience), and they were even a little too challenging for me. The artistry and intricacies are wild! Highly recommend to origami prodigies, who are looking for gorgeous models that will take a lot of work to perfect.

Beautiful designs, beginners beware
I was so excited to see that Naomiki Sato had finally published a book/guide for his beautiful designs! Definitely not for beginner, although the first few pages go over types of folds and creasing, the basics. I am finding it somewhat challenging however I am just amateur, I appreciate how the book not only gives you the instructions but also how to "set it up" for optimal presentation and the different tools you need which are not hard to find.Would definitely recommend to origami enthusiasts :)
