Fits my Honda Civic 2009 perfectly!
This one fits my 2009 Honda Civic perfectly -- from top to bottom and side to side, full coverage, which allows the air to flow and prevents sweaty-drenched back.I plan to add a shoestring tie at the back-to-bottom crease to more securely anchor it to the seat, so it won't slide around so much.Update January 2015Only 6 months after putting this beaded seat cushion to use, it has started to break. The fish-line wire has broken in a couple of places on the seat-bottom, no doubt at a high-stress point where I twist when getting in or out of the vehicle. What kind of weak fish-line did they use to make this? Seems like they could have used something strong enough to survive the normal stresses any normal user would put upon this product.I will NOT purchase another one of these -- I'll have to hunt for another one that'll fit my Honda Civic.

Good size/coverage, may not last
This is the second wood bead seat cover I bought. The first was much too small (and I own a small car).I am using this seat cover on a 1st gen Scion xB. It covers the full upper and lower areas of the seat. It was easy to install, just remove headrest, set the seat cover on the seat, and replace headrest.Note: This seat cover will only work with seats that have a "two post" headrest. The posts have to fit through the spaces between the beads (there are no special openings along the top of the seat cover for this purpose).PROS:- Comfortable- Allows good air circulation- Large size covers whole seat- Quick installationCONS:- Not very sturdy construction: This is the only major con so far. After only a few days' use the plastic line (like fishing line) has started stretching out causing the seat cover to sag around the upper corners. Because of that, I'd be surprised if this lasted a year, but it hasn't broken yet so... This "fishing line" construction seems to be the standard for wood bead seat covers though, so I don't think this one is worse than any other. Too bad no one is making ones threaded on some durable cording.- Seat cover changes seating position: This will apply to any wood bead seat cover and isn't a fault of this product in particular. The driver's seat in my car isn't height adjustable, so this seat cover put me a bit higher and farther forward which has put me right at the outer limit of my sideview mirror adjustment range. Again, not a defect of the product, just something to keep in mind.Bottomline: Because of it's large size, this seems to be one of the better wood bead seat covers available here. It's less than sturdy construction (standard for this type of seat cover) kept it from being a four or five star product. If it lasts at least a year in decent shape I would recommend it to a friend or purchase it again myself.

Comfort and style
For me, I like that it allows air to flow between you and the car seat. I use the headrest to attach it to the seat. The best thing to have for short trips and obviously long trips.

Poor fit and messy
This beaded seat cushion is supposed to be a universal fit. Well, one size doesnt fit all. My lincoln towncar seats are thick and the top part that is pictured to go around the upper edges of the seat does not come close to doing that in my car. The result is that there is nothing holding up the back to the seat top and it flops down making half the cushion that would cool your back totally useless. In addition there was a mess of small particles underneath the cushion after using it. I think it came from the inside of the beads being rubbed by the plastic filaments holding it together. Very messy. Why pay full price for half a cushion? Pass on this unless you have narrow or small seats.

fits great on a chevy, easy install...a bit flimsy, but cool
Fits well, is full sized, breathable. This is a bit flimsily made (light grade nylon fishing line holds the beads together), but the size is perfect for my Chevy HHR (likely to fit a Cobalt, they're similar). Pull the headrests off (insert a slender key or other tool in the tiny hole on the side of the plastic where the headrest post goes in, remove headrest, put seat cover in place, reinstall headrest; fits great!). It seems cooler than before right away. Not sure how long it will last but it was inexpensive and seems better than the others I considered. On my HRR it goes over the top of the seat back (under the headrest), down the seatback and all the way to the front of the lower cushion; neither too long nor too short. Width is just right for my car, too. It may fit differently in other cars, of course. It is more comfortable than it looks, but I haven't tried a long drive with it yet...I'll revise this if there are any major surprises after more use.

Would not stay in place, has fallen apart
I really liked this product, when I got it, and it was great for a couple of months. However, it has no straps to hold it in place, so it slides around. Often, when I would sit down, it would have slipped away from the back of the seat and become unduly stretched when I sat down. After a couple of months, the internal nylon monofilament began breaking and it fell apart.I also wish it were about 2" wider. I'm not a huge guy (190lb, 34" waist), but my back in particular was always over the edges on one side or the other.Could be a great product, if it had at least one strap in the middle, to hold it in place, and was about 2" wider.
