What a relief for my sore fingers
I have never needed one of these before; I wasn’t sure what to expect. My hands were getting too sore to continue breaking my current medication in half when my Dr reduced the dose. I couldn’t afford to waste the money from a barely used bottle of 90 pills, so I bought this economically priced option. It works so much better and faster than I could—it’s amazing. I had no idea.It is so easy to use, requires only mild to moderate pressure, depending on the size of the pill. Mine are huge footballs, and some tiny little ones. This device handles them both with ease. Just open, align the pill’s score mark with the razor blade, slide in as far as it will go into the “V” and press. It only does one pill at a time for accuracy. By the way, I was told that if your pill does not have a score line, it wasn’t intended to be split. It is not made with an equal amount of active ingredient in each half. But you may only need to average over 2 days. Some med’s are OK that way.ONE CAUTION: The edge of the razor is exposed when open. Be sure to keep this away from curious little ones’ fingers. They could do serious damage in a flash.

Most accurately centered pill cutter.
These pill cutters absolutely worked the best. I’ve tried 3-4 types that don’t cut the pill in half accurately. When I r’cvd these I realized why. The V angle is much sharper holding the pill centered. The others V angle was too wide to grasp the pill centered. Not sure why the other makers didn’t figure this out but this brand sure nailed it. This pill cutter really works the best.

Won’t cut longer pills
This will not cut longer pills like 1000 mg vitamin C oval-shaped. Doesn’t fit in the little V holder on the cutter. So it just shatters the pill which makes the pill unusable half the time. I had to buy a different pill cutter that was not designed like this one so that I could cut my big pills so this was a waste of money really

Hard to get even split
Poor quality. Hard to center pill for an even split. OK if you only need to make pill smaller for easy swallowing
