Great Product
I like to think of myself as an 'arm chair chef' loving to cook for decades. I especially enjoy preparing Asian cuisine and when living in California had no problem finding needed ingredients. Now I live in AZ which is not known for its diversity. So I now acquire ingredients via Amazon. This superior Black Vinegar should be included in any Asian pantry. The delivery was quick and well packaged. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to achieve authentic flavors.

Use for soup dumplings!
This is the black vinegar that is served with soup dumplings. Since Trader Joe's sells decent very reasonable soup dumplings that microwave in 2 minutes this is a necessary condiment! It's stronger than soy sauce with a different flavor. Have to have it!

Superb!
I bought this on a whim and now I am hooked. This is some of the most delicious and unique vinegars I have ever tasted. Loved it so much I sent a bottle to my daughter. I will by again and regularly. Not a vinegar for salad dressing, but special enough for dipping, making sauces and adding as a condiment for foods. I am thinking this would be excellent in beans.

Great flavor, get for dumplings sauce
Very good flavor. Kind of strong acid vinegar taste for some, but tons of flavor.

Unsatisfactory
Not what I expected. Tastes yucky.

Use the right vinegar in Chinese cuisine.
This vinegar makes a world of difference in taste. Many Americanized dishes call for just plain white vinegar. Plain white vinegar lacks the sweetness and depth that Zhenjiang vinegar has. I've used this in my hot and sour soup, kung pao, and even switched it up on general Tso (which seems to point to being an actual Chinese-American dish) and it makes a difference.

Not good for people with an MSG sensitivity.
I didn't realize it, but apparently I have an MSG sensitivity that this product triggers. About 1-2 hours after eating a dish incorporating the vinegar, I begin to feel a headache coming on which progresses and continues for the next 24 hours. The product description contains no warning and says nothing about MSG sensitivity. Upon further study, I learned that MSG is classified as safe for consumption, although some people can experience the MSG sensitivity reaction that I described. Trust me, you don't want this if you have this sensitivity. From now on, I'll be using MSG free products.
