Very good connectors for BC6 cable.

I needed to to a single, braided 14guage single speaker wire for some test cables and this worked out well for me. I like the fact that they are in a little plastic box that is reusable for small items once the connectors are used. 14guage wire is just a bit too thick to insert into the socket where it would normally then be screwed down, so I just soldered it to the terminal instead, and then covered the exposed wire with shrink tubing and crimped it down. I would recommend them.

This item is solidly built, has reasonably good precision with respect to dimensions being suitable for coax up to .250" in diameter and goes together easily with minimal work required on the coax to fit it to the BNC connector.I will order these again when I am out of my initial supply.

QC is pretty bad, materials are low quality, and the finish leaves something to be desired. Several screws were stripped out so I had to solder the center conductor instead. The threads for the back shell were very poorly formed and felt gritty. However they are one of very few solder (as opposed to crimp-on) BNC connectors available. They do work, but they aren't pretty.

These BNC connectors are easy to install without the need for solder. The come in a very nice clear storage box that makes them easy to store. The quality of the signal is outstanding and they are easy to connect.

I have been doing BNC cabling since 10base2 days, but I haven't had to do much over the last few years. My issue with these are quality control. There is a set screw for the middle conductor. (center wire) More than half of these were stripped out due to manufacturing over-tightening the screw. IOW, unusable because you cannot remove the screw to to insert the center wire. Luckily I only needed 2 for this job and was able to get 2 out of the 15 to work properly.I would not recommend this product to anyone, I would not buy again. I should have found my compression tool and bought those connectors. If I have to do this again, I will spend the money to avoid the frustration. I needed something fast and easy and this was not it.

They don't fit well, they break easily.
