Best I’ve found
My pipe dope failed so I borrowed my dads and this stuff works great. I’ve used it on 1/2 all the way up to 3” fittings with success. My dad got put onto it from an ag sprayer parts store where it has to hold up to 180+ psi, bouncing through fields at 10mph, and large fittings.

This works better than tefflon.
This works much better sealing the PCV connections at the pool pump.

Works very well, especially PVC threads on PVC, gently tighten, .
As a contractor for 35 years, I have threads 1000's of fittings. Until they started removing lead from brass fittings, I had virtually no leaks ever with reg Teflon tape and dope. New lead-free brass now requires the blue (monster) Teflon tape and pipe dope like this to seal. 2 to 4 wraps with blue Teflon, and then this blue pipe dope and no leaks. Works on stainless, galv, brass, black iron, and PVC threads.May stain if it drips onto concrete, etc

Effective, Easy to Apply Pipe Fitting Sealant
Tru-Blu is much easier to apply than Rectorseal's T-2 sealant I've used previously, which got on/in everything it touched leaving a film that just doesn't clean way. I applied a very light coat of Tru-Blu over 3 wraps of Mill-Rose 70886 Blue Monster 3/4" teflon tape. My 1" red brass pipe fittings came together with ease and I was able to wipe away the excess sealant without difficulty, leaving a clean professional looking joint. I'm pleased. A little does it; I should have opted for the smaller 1/4 pint size.

Incredible
I have been in the water system business for 18 years and have used Teflon tape, Megaloc, and StickTite paste. I have found Megaloc to be the best. It’s always been my sure thing with Teflon tape on difficult joints, but I finally ran into one that my tried and true failed me for the first time.It was a 1-1/4” size and I was screwing brass into a plastic filter housing. I tried 3 times with Megaloc and a couple times with StickTite plumber paste and even gave it time to dry. To my surprise each attempt failed. I have never used True Blue since I have been loyal to Megaloc since it’s never failed me until now.I ordered this stuff and gave it a try. It worked on the first attempt. I put True Blue in the threads and on the threads of the male and let it try for almost 24 hrs. No leaks several days later. I’m convinced and will be using it from here on.
