NOT INSTALLED YET
I have this washlet in one of my bathrooms. I like it so much I.m putting one in the other bathroom. This is something most people can install themselves in 20 minutes - if you have available a convenient electric outlet. The only pain for me was attaching the two outlet hose. Working upside down is a challenge for me but not a big one. If you desire a warmed toilet seat, warm water to rinse and clean those parts, to lightly massage those parts and dry them with a gentle breeze, you should like this washlet. It comes with a remote which can be mounted on the wall beside the washlet. I prefer this position over the one on an arm off the seat or one with a remote. But we are all different. Again, I love this washlet so much I've purchased another one. Our toilets are American Standard hence the American Standard washlet. We had a mixed set up in our last house and it didn't work so well.

Why buy the entire toilet, if you do not have to.
Buying just the seat is a good option, rather than buying the entire toilet. You do not have to hire a plumber to install this. I did have to replace the water supply hose for the toilet tank to accommodate a fitting for the seat. Once I viewed the YouTube video on the installation, it became very clear to me how to install the seat. The instructions were not bad, but not clear regarding some of the steps for installation.

I can't find how to stop the seat from squirting water as soon as you sit down. I hope to get a response from American Standard or this will go back.This is the top-end model for American Standard, but it lacks features that Toto, the industry leader, has. This model does not have two presets. Each person has to reset the preferences (seat heat, water temp and strength). The remote is not backlit so in the dark, you have to guess at the settings.

Wonderful Bidet Technology
I love this bidet, I can't say enough good things about. Does exactly what it is supposed to do. I love the warm seat, the soft close lid, the water temperature control. Don't hesitate, buy it!!
