Q: Is this really 100% cotton, or a pointelle knit combined with other materials? The info mentions both 'Cotton' & 'Pointelle' but nothing specific.

The label inside the brief says 100% cotton. The definition of pointelle that I found in Webster's dictionary is "an openwork design (as in knitted fabric) typically in the shape of chevrons; also a fabric with this design." The brief has an openwork diamond design with 4 dots in the center in the shape of a diamond. It is a knitted cotton fabric that is stretchy. I like the cotton for its wicking properties together with the same fabric binding the waistband and leg openings. They are soft and comfortable. I am really pleased with this product. I hope this info is helpful. :)

Q: where are these made? Do these come up to just under the belly-button?

Not sure where made but come to my belly button and has full leg coverage. I have been wearing this style for years. I have low tolerance to elastic and this style all elevator is covered by cotton material

I wear size 10-12 pants & size 7 hockey underwear.
