Well-used Baby Item
Love these! Definitely not a "need" but so convenient and removes the ick-factor when applying bum cream. They're easy to clean. I like the suction cup bottoms. Love the price point too.

Wish I'd Thought of This!
I purchased the BabyBum Diaper Cream Brush as a baby gift for a first-time mom. My son and daughter-in-law have 2 for my grandchild--one for the nursery and one for the diaper bag. This is one of the best ideas ever. As any parent knows, any diaper rash prevention/treatment product worth the name is thick, sticky, and hard to get off the hands of the diaper changer. Hand application results in using more product than necessary because about 1/3 to 1/2 of the product seems to remain on the fingers of the person applying. THEN comes the problem of getting it off the fingers so the diaper can be closed and fastened. This item is like a third hand--no joke! It has a suction cup base that keeps it anchored to the changing table or nearby chest in an upright position. This means you can load the spatula-like applicator end with the diaper cream product BEFORE removing the dirty diaper. Your hands stay free of the cream while you tidy baby and position the clean diaper. The brush is very soft and flexible, but it is silicone so the cream does not adhere to it like it does to skin and you truly use much less. Then, when you are finished with application, the brush can be "stuck" back in an upright position to the surface of the chest/table until diapering is done, so no messy transfer. Cleanup is a breeze with a baby wipe. What I would have given to have this 28 years ago! Some of the best money you will ever spend! Additional comment: I just realized something! I'm going to order one of these things for myself-- to apply depilatory cream to my face! Update: I did purchase this product specifically to apply depilatory cream to my face and it works like a charm. Very pleased!

Best Diapering Tool
We received one of these when our son was born, and it helps us keep our hands clean. I now buy them for every baby shower I go to!

Must-have for all moms with kids in diapers!
I went to a baby shower last weekend and someone gave this as a gift, raving about how great it is, and I knew I had to try it.I was not disappointed! This may be the highest rated item I've ever seen on Amazon with a significant number of reviews. It works great. Now appying cream to my baby's bottom is like icing a cake! It's obviously much more sanitary in terms of no longer rubbing my baby's bottom with my bare finger. I'm about the farthest thing from a germaphobe but even I'm not totally at ease with a finger that's touched a "poop exit" (Amazon took exception to my anatomical term for this body part) being around my baby, no matter how well I wash it. I don't really care for myself, but I worry about my baby and his immature little immune system, and intestinal bacteria are just the worst. Also, some of the creams out there (looking at you, Burt's Bees) are incredibly sticky and waterproof, which makes them great creams but almost impossible to easily remove from your fingers. This tool obviously prevents that issue. Finally, I also think it's better for his bowel movements (hear me out). There just is no way to really get the cream in there (most of his irritation is always right around the "exit hole") without somewhat rubbing the "exit hole", which in turn often stimulates a probably premature bowel movement. This spatula lets you get the cream really close to the hole without stimulating it.For the price, quality, and utility, this is a must have for all moms with kids in diapers!
