Nice design with functioning rotors

Big Lego fan! I saw this and knew it was a "must have" product! So I dug deep into my budget and found the money to purchase this awesome model! Sure, I'll have to eat Ramen noodles for the next month, but it will be worth it!! The instruction book is 400 pages of IKEA style directions that if Lego didn't number the bags, the poor color scheme would make you think you might be color blind!But all that aside, it is a huge model and one I am so going to enjoy putting together! The best thing about any Lego model is pulling each bag out and hearing the familiar noise of the hard plastic parts rattling and the smell of the instructions as you open them. They have always sounded and smelled like this! Honestly, I get transported back in time. I am 43 years old, and Lego is one of those things that can make me feel like a kid again.

It took me over a month of assembly, but that was only working after work and dinner. A few hours at a time, and it was great entertainment.It may cost a lot, but the finished product is excellent. I can't wait to get my display shelf built to display it proudly in my living room for everyone to see!

This is an amazing model; it has many cool features on it, such as spinning rotors, you can spin the rotors on the helicarrier, but not too hard because this is a very very fragile model, it is more of a display piece, if it is played with, or moved around a lot, it will most likely break. It measures 31 inches In length, and about 17-19 inches wide; it is a great model, great job LEGO!

I've never build a full Lego set before other then just whatever I want to build, but for this one I just had to give it a try... (3000 pcs) over all the build was easy... took about a total of about 16-18 hours... not bad I guess. this Lego set looks AWESOME!!!! now I need to find a new set... (side note, if you want to buy this as a collectible then don't... they shipped this just in the original Lego box so no additional boxing therefore no collectible...

awesome lego set! I built this set over a few days and had a blast with my son! It is really well detailed as far as the command center and engines. Love the entire top surface with the runways and Quinjets! Great value for the money! Only complaint was the upper runway does not actually click in place, it is held on by a rod and a few legos holding on in other areas...

I was half way through finishing the set when I found that one bag is missing(I opened the whole box in my room and I am sure I didn't lose that bag). Now I am stuck and don't know what to do. Plz can somebody help me out here.

Really cool build. Had fun putting it together. Bag 12 was missing piece #4211650, so now my air traffic control tower is incomplete. Other than that, awesome.
