Update: replacement unit is a charm (was "Non-functioning display and sporadic function")
I bought one a couple of years ago and it didn't work. Amazon refunded my money. Then the brand contacted me and sent me a new unit, free of charge. I said I didn't want one, but they were insistent that they didn't want me to have had a bad experience. It arrived during 2022 so I have now had this unit for two summers and I'm updating based on that experience.I have two SUPs and this compact unit inflates them to 20psi without trouble. I generally rest the unit between boards and it takes about 7-9 minutes per board. The first phase is quick and very quiet, but from about 12psi it gets noisier (as expected). The pump gets warm but the internal fan seems to work and it'll do a whole board with ease and without cutting out due to heat. The pump is very lightweight and so it gets moved by the stiffness of the hose. Just be aware of this during setup and keep an eye on the pump so it doesn't move or fall during the inflation as the board moves. The 12v cable is really long and is non-removable.The best feature for me was an unexpected one - the "deflation" capability. The labour-saving aspect of inflation is obvious, but the joy of being able to suck every bit of air from a board is really useful. No more grunting, sitting, rolling, releasing... just connect the hose to the "suck" part of the pump and all air is drawn from the board. This allows me to roll and store it in much less space and with ease, and makes a massive difference to storing and transporting the deflated board. So, the unit I have now is great. Works easily, reliably and well. While the first one sucked the customer service from Amazon was excellent and from the brand was above and beyond what was needed.Original review below for comparison, and the light weight and deflation points were made then:"Bought last year since we had three SUPs and thought I’d take the easy route instead of manual pumping. The unit’s lcd didn’t work. Occasionally there’d be a flicker but then nothing. Managed to set a level by guess-pressing the dead-feeling buttons and got some inflation. The unit overheats and needs to rest between boards. To be fair the manual says it needs a rest and it did.Amazon service was fantastic. I explained I’d opened the unit, used it, struggled and wouldn’t be able to return it for a month and they said ‘no worries’ and approved a return. Brilliant. The reason for the two star (ie more than 1!) is the deflation. That was brilliant. No buttons needed - just attach the the correct vent and the unit sucks the air from the board. It’s the best extraction we’ve ever managed.Would I buy again? Nope. The unit is cheap plastic and the shape won’t fit/sit/stay on any surface."

Great pump
The media could not be loaded. Does what it says and with little fuss. Quiet to start of with but once it kicks in at about 5psi it gets a bit noisy and from 0 to 15 psi took 5 minutes. The deflate option is good as well as it gets it really flat to pack away. Saves you standing on it to flatten down incase these something sharp underneath that could puncture it. Worth the money!

Not quick, but absolutely works.
I considered 5 stars, but decided on 4. This might be unfair, but bear with me. Firstly, I have nothing to compared to other than hand pumping our Stand-Up Paddleboard (SUP). Compared to that, I would give it 10 stars. So why 4? Firstly, it is a slow process. It still takes a solid 15 mins per board using the pump. This might be completely normal, but it's worth noting. These boards are under high-ish pressure (20psi approx) but it isn't quick. The pump is also very noisy. At the start, when under low pressure, it's fine - but as it does the final 10 mins, it is a real racket. This is pretty antisocial in what are usually "nice" spots to go paddleboarding. I have taken to shutting the pump in the boot of the car while the air hose hangs out to the board. The range of connectors is good, and there are options for both our boards. The other thing I think would really be useful would be the option to have a 12V car socket (cigarette lighter) to mains convertor included - this would allow us to pump the board in places other than the car. All in all, good kit - and way better than hand pumping, but I think there are improvements to be had. Repeating myself, though - I have not compared to other pumps / brands - they may all have the same "issues".

Great little pump. Works with no fuss.
The media could not be loaded. Pretty impressed with this little pump. Does what it claims to do, nice design & just works with minimal fuss.I plug it in to my car lighter socket, the power lead is long enough that I can get all around my boat without any issues. It comes with various adaptors, you can see them in one of the photos. The only issue I had was that the little plastic tabs on the adaptor I needed got in the way of my boat’s valve, but filed them off in 2 mins and it’s no problem. To use the pump, you plug it in to a car lighter socket. Set the pressure (bar / PSI) connect the pump and push start. It will start off on a fast blower low pressure stage which inflates the boat really quick, then when it reaches max pressure for that it auto switches in to a high pressure (compressor type) pumping mode to get up to the desired pressure. Once pressure is reached it stops automatically. All this takes a couple of minutes a for the large boat tubes shown in the video. The pump can also deflate which makes it much easier to pack the boat away nice and compact. The floor of the boat is a high pressure air deck similar to a SUP that inflates to 15PSI and the shark pump had no problems with that. I used it on a very hot day for a few tests of inflating / deflating the boat, no problems with overheating, I think a lot of pumps would have overheated. So all in all- it’s a good pump, just works with not a lot of fuss. Has all the adaptors you’re likley to need. And hasn’t given me any problems. Quick, efficient, just works. It would be nice if it came with a bag to keep it in but that’s the only addition I think it needs.

Game changer!
This pump is brilliant! Used for a few months now and has worked really well every time. Such a luxury to not have to pump the boards.

Works really well - has the power to pump up SUPs properly
Some SUP pumps are a bit weak for the job, but this one is a proper one - it confidently pumps up SUPS, and reasonably quickly. I rate it highly.
