Mosquito Dunks 102-12 Mosquito Killer for Bird,Fish, 2 Pack

We put these in our low-lying ditches that always seem to collect water and don't drain very well. We've had problems with mosquitos for years and someone told us about these dunks so we gave them a try and they do work very well. Here in North Carolina, we get a lot of humidity, and water never seems to drain off very well and of course, we have a lot of mosquitos. This summer it just didn't seem to be so bad with mosquitos so I'm going to put it down to these dunks doing their job.

After months of fighting a gnat infestation in my indoor house plants, I've finally found the solution! I began watering with mosquito dunks, and it works great! I put a dunk in my water overnight, and then use that water to water my plants the next day. I even changed all my propagations to use this water. It seems to have greatly reduced the number of gnats in my house after only 48 hours. I think once all the adults die, I'll finally have a gnat free living space! I don't know if I'll ever quit using dunk water!

We have a small ravine in the back of our mountain property where deer and other animals come to drink. We also have a hammock near the ravine. Each time we would use the hammock, we would be eaten up by mosquitoes. (We are in the White Mountains of AZ). We tossed half a disk into the water every 30 days or so and the mosquito population has diminished greatly. The deer still come by to drink, so we are very satisfied with this purchase.

We have a swimming pool that has been given to the tadpoles and froglets this year and it was a breeding ground for mosquitoes. It was full of mosquito larve and I started noticing mosquitoes in my house so I ordered these and within 24 hours all the larve was dead and I didn’t notice anymore mosquitoes! Plus, They don’t hurt my tadpoles and frogs. Theyre safe for all animals and can even be used in bird baths or drinking troughs. Great product, great price and fast shipping.

After dropping one of these into my pool cover that had a substantial amount of water in it before I opened my pool, it definitely killed all the mosquitoes that were swimming in it. However it didn’t last a month. I’d say it lasted 2 weeks before I saw new mosquitoes flying over and swimming again.

Why yes they work for that too! We live in the middle of a mosquito breeding ground; coupled with 3 pups that run in and out all day mosquitos are a big problem inside. They inevitably find the water in our commode. I thought I'd give this a try. I snapped 1 disk in half, used some ribbon (Don't judge, its all I had) and tied that around the 1/2 disk then dropped in the tank and left quite a few inches hanging down the back of the tank so the disk did not get caught up when the float moved up and down. In less than 24 hours, no more mosquitos and since then (3-ish weeks later) we have have seen zero return. Its been perfect.Update 53 days later: these are PERFECT for the toilet tank if you have issues with mosquitoes getting water from the toilet bowl. 1/2 of one lasted about 53 days. I knew it was time when there were small black, almost like dirt floating in the bowl. There was some residue around the inside of the tank, I rinsed that out and flushed a couple of times and then restrung another 1/2 if a disk and bit it back. We love these and couldn’t be happier!!
