Winsome 94402 Pantry Cupboard with Door, Antique Walnut

Awesome.. space saving, exactly as pictured to my eye. Put a tape measure up and stand where you want this and visualize.. it is the size they say.. but expectations can lead to disappointments if you let your eyes tell you this is HUGE.It is what they say it is.. and the big, clear pictures, let you see the colors and how the wood fits together..I used magnum glue on all seams and pins and dowels.. Its solid as a rock. The wood is nice. and its cut well.. Take your time while building and youll love it. Its really a quality item. Its not heirloom quality.. but its nice. Not amish, but its not super heavy wood either. you can move it around.. and yet its very sturdy.It is slightly pine-wood sort of soft wood.. so if you have some clumsy sons move this and accidentally bump it on a door jam itll crack.. its a very dry wood. But take care and its plenty solid. If you want real hard wood youll pay a lot more than this and the stuff like this.. But its a great, nice looking, piece. It shipped fast, was packaged well, and assembled with ease. If you are a "rusher" and not tool friendly, or dont want to glue this together.. Id maybe get someone who likes to to that sort of thing.. itll save you some gray hairs. : ) cheers.

I am basing the 4 stars on a new item as I purchased a unit from Amazon Warehouse Deals that had more than "cosmetic damage" as described. The cupboard looks very nice, was easy to assemble and will serve its purpose well(I recommend using a flex-neck adapter and ratchet if available or if you plan ahead, get one as using the tools that come with these kits are painfully slow). I don't know about the strength of the shelves or of the unit as a whole. I have mine by my front door and will only see light duty usage.As for my Warehouse item, the damage was more than cosmetic but when assembled is hidden and I believe completely durable. One of the sides was separated along one edge but pulled together when assembled. I normally have good luck with Warehouse purchases and while this one was a bit more extensive than I had anticipated, I have no complaints.

This is a wonderful product. It is very attractive and well-constructed, easy to assemble (really!), a fantastic value for the price. I notice some reviewers report minor quality issues. Probably to be expected on occasion at this price, but rest assured that these cabinets are basically well built; if you have a problem with one, it was just a bit of bad luck, not what is to be expected, and not likely to be repeated if you return for a replacement.I bought one, then the matching one with a different style, and am about to buy my third. I am remodeling my kitchen and will install fewer built-in cabinets, because I will use these instead. I like the fact that I can move them around if I want to do a bit of re-arranging, which you can't do with built-ins.I considered giving it only four stars, because it really should be designed so you can hang the door to open on the left or right, but for the price, it definitely deserves five stars. One of the best buys ever.

We needed additional pantry room but are very limited on space. These cabinets were the perfect answer. Assembly went smoothly, taking about two hours on the first one. Ordered the second one and only took a little over an hour.

ok, first, let me recommend that if the box is intact..Take everything out and try to identify all the parts you should have. The directions are: nothing but pictures and not clearly illustrated. We went through and counted pieces, all there and not cracked/damaged wood nor uneven color. Sadly, we had 3 shelves but 2 were the same so in reality we were the top inside one short. Couldn't use a drill on the inside facing because no room so use the hex to make only quarter turns because there's no way to have yr hand fit while trying to turn. Door doesn't fit quite right, easily swings open. The wood parts are good quality considering & the finished cab. is nice looking. Good luck

This is a fabulous product! This made of wood, not fiberboard. Very high quality, especially for the price. Even the back of the product was not cheap cardboard, but was a thin piece of wood which came with screws not tacking nails. Of course, the instructions could have been better, but are comparable to the instructions of other items I've put together. A couple of tips when putting this together: dont tighten the screws all the way until you have finished assembling. The product fits together precisely, especially the backing, so just go back and tighten the screws last. Also, there IS a front/back to the top piece. There is a tiny little hole, that I didnt notice until AFTER I had put this all together, where the screw for the backing goes. I had to partially dismantle it in order to turn this around. Had I paid closer attention, I would have noticed it. I would highly recommend this product!!!
