Outremer Vanille Eau de Toilette 1.6 oz by L'Aromarine

This is by far my favorite perfume I’ve tried at this price point (or any really)! Smells so light, clean, and warm to me and lasts a long time. This is a product I purchase on repeat!!

Due to it being an eau de toilette, it doesn’t last on me for ages, but it has an amazing, inviting, elegant, and light vanilla smell. Everyone has complimented me on the days that I’ve worn it and as a vanilla-loving girlie, I’m honored to add this to my collection. I love to pair it with Tree Hut’s vanilla body lotion and Al Rehab Choco Musk perfume oil. Definitely worth your money if you want a light and cereal-milk ish vanilla.

I ordered this vanilla perfume to work with and off set the woody depth of vanilla nomad. The perfume arrived unbroken and nicely packaged within 48 hours. This perfume has a very sweet, gourmand essence but lasts all day and layers nicely with other perfumes and oils—especially patchouli and sandalwood. It comes in an attractive, vintage-looking bottle.

I adore the real L'Aromarine/Outremer vanille. It has become my signature scent. I have worn it for 10 years, but this is NOT it. When I got it out of the package and sprayed it on my wrist, I started coughing because of how strongly it smelled of rubbing alcohol. I am used to a very rich vanilla scent, but I could barely smell the vanilla after the strong alcohol smell faded. I also noticed that the color was a little off, it was not as dark a liquid as the other bottle I have from a different retailer. It seems like it was diluted with alcohol. I am incredibly disappointed with this purchase. Unfortunately, I won't be able to use this product, can't return it, and will just have to eat the cost.

Ok ladies I have searched high and low for a beautiful sweet vanilla scent to top my body lotion and let me just say THIS IS IT!!!!!! I am in love at first I was not sure if this was going to have the staying power I wanted but after giving it a week to test o can still smell this after a long day when only spraying 3-4 times that morning!!!! If you are looking for a sweet marshmallow vanilla cake smell this is IT!!!! It pairs beautifully with EOS vanilla cashmere lotion & VS Bare vanilla. Also, My husband is OBSESSED WITH ME right now and I’m pretty sure this is to blame :)

This was a blind buy, bought due to my search for the perfect vanilla perfume and I couldn't resist after all the good reviews. It is a lovely gourmand fragrance full of airy sugary sweetness and cottan candy scent. Words I'd use while smelling it: Delicate, light, summery sweetness, playful, yum. As a gourmand perfume lover I'm more than happy to add it to my collection.However, this is NOT the divine vanilla I am after. It is not vanilla bean in a bottle, I do not feel like a vanilla goddess. It isn't rich, think playful instead of sexy. Maybe it depends on the batch you get and where you buy it from? Maybe they changed the formula? Because how can so many people proclaim vanilla dominance for an obviously spun sugar perfume? They seemed to have left the vanilla out of my vanille lol.I think this is a safe buy, one most people will like. But I continue my hunt for "THE" vanilla.

Good size for price but a little underwhelming. To me, it doesn't really smell like vanilla or the vanilla warmth that I was hoping for. The scent isn't long lasting at all and you must use like 4 to 6 sprays to smell it strong enough to wear out. I sometimes use only to give my skin a scent and 2 sprays is fine but no one can actually smell it unless they are sniffing my skin. At work I was told I smell like pancakes, someone else said I smelled like syrup and my other coworker said it smelled like sweet waffles. So there you have it, all unintentional reviews by men at work who were either hungry or actually smelling me passing by. The waffles guy...I lied to him and told him it wasn't me who smelled like it, but it was me :( I lied because I wanted the warm vanilla smell, not syrup.

I first began wearing this in the mid 90's, when the bottle had a different label. I purchased it from a small boutique in Florida & could only get it when I visited for vacation. One year I was devastated to find they no longer carried it. Mind you, this was during the early days of internet & since I wasn't able to find it I tried any other vanilla fragrance I could but none of them held a candle to this. Fast forward to last year while vacationing at the same place, I noticed a bottle of lavender perfume made by the same company I remember years earlier. I asked the employee if they had vanilla & she said no. Crushed again. Only this time I knew I could try the internet & voila!!!! There was my most cherished fragrance! I quickly located a vendor & bought some immediately. It felt like forever waiting for this delivery but when it came I demolished the packaging, opened the bottle & took a deep sniff. Years melted away as I was reeled back in time to the very 1st time I ever smelled it. I wanted to cry it was so touching! I know this sound really stupid but this fragrance is my signature fragrance. I received tons of compliments each time I wore it. My husband loves it as well & I can't wait to see if he notices. I highly recommend this to anyone who reads this because if you love vanilla, you'll love this. It's not a sickeningly sweet fragrance but it is sweet smelling & the odor lasts the entire day, it doesn't wear off.
