The best
Don’t buy any other kind. This was sold in stores everywhere a few years back. What happened? It is so expensive, but worth it because it tastes the best! My family favorite is mincemeat squares.

Nonsuch is the best mincemeat
Only place I could buy mincemeat was online. Everyone loved the pie.

Reputable product, responsible seller
When item didn't arrive, Double Aches was prompt to issue a refund despite the USPS showing it delivered. Four weeks later, the item has arrived! So I appreciate both the quality of the product (pristine outside, delicious contents) as well as seller's gracious response to a problem that wasn't their responsibility.

This is a five star product, but...
I have been enjoying this brand of mincemeat for over 50 years. I didn't give it five stars because, dang!, the price. I remember when this was less than ten dollars a jar. Even that price seemed high for half a pie.Supposedly there was a shortage of some of the ingredients a couple of years ago, driving the price up. What's the excuse now?

Classic has become hard to find in stores
I love Mince Pie and make it the way my Mom did. Nonesuch is the classic brand of mincemeat pie filling. Long ago I could buy it in little compact boxes which had to be re-hydrated. For several years now I've only found it in the jars ready to pour (I always add more apples & raisins and more brandy). Two years in a row my local small chain supermarket has told me they just don't have enough demand to carry it. Then I was able to get it by driving 20 miles to the Jewel store (Albertson's chain) in next city south of us, but they have discontinued it too. Amazon to the rescue, a tradition restored.
