Staple for me
I use these Shiva Oil Paintstiks all the time for oil paintings where fine or medium thick lines are needed. The oil sticks are sturdy, have sufficient pigment (not just filler) to be pronounced on the canvas. I order them all the time in not only white but a zillion other colors. Great value.

Creamy
I LOVE this oil stick and will order all the other colors . So easy to apply . I use over acrylics and it goes in like buttah; gives a great glow . Nice coverage . Can’t wait to try the other colors !

A tad firmer than other brands
This is my first Jack Richeson oil painstick. I've been mostly pleased. It is firmer than others I've used. Color is nice. Doesn't seem to film over as much as my others. I'll probably buy a couple of more - true colors instead of white - and compare them. Overall kinda pleased but the firmness is throwing me off just a bit.

Easy to use
I love this little paint stick. I painted a dresser and frame in my daughters room and wanted to break up the aqua color and thus really did the trick. It’s easy to fix if you mess up as long as you do it before it cures. I even used it on a hairline fracture on a white bathroom tile and it filled it in enough to make it a lot less noticeable.

Perfect for highlighting proofs and other marks firearms for photography
Can be removed with lighter fluid. Get some, a no brainer.

Perfect for my purpose
I own some R&F sticks and they are wonderfully buttery (love them), but I wanted a somewhat drier oil stick for a drawing/painting project. Perfect!

Love the product
Purchased to outline detail on furniture. Works best after polycrylic cover coat has been applied. Then use nylon glove to apply and smear into detail.

Completely Dry
After taking off the top skin of the paintstick I thought it would be okay to use on my media.....but it is completely dried out. It should be creamy enough to make marks with. I wont by this brand again..
