Minus one star because it tends to slip off the base after you use it for a while which is why I have to replace it. Sound quality is still superior and cuts down on distracting wind pretty well

It’s not a good value for the money in my opinion.Guess you have to pay for the Senheisser name.I own several senheisser microphones and do feel I get value for the money.

This won't totally cuts a gale-force wind out, but it works very well in light wind. Definitely a must if you do any outdoor recording with the MKE600.

Perfect fit for Sennheiser mic.
Everything works as described. Perfect fit for senheiser mic, good noise reduction. The only thing to be improved is that it sheds a lot if when you try to pull hair by hands. I cannot compare it to other ones, but read that it is a common problem for other windshields as well. Keep it in a plastic bag so you do not get hair in you camera bag.
