Quality of product.
Was purchased as t gift. Arrived on time but did have some scratches on latch. It also looks as if the anchor on top box may be plated, as some of the plating seemed to be coming off in the corner. I believe the scratches on the latch came from transport, however the plating issue looks as it seems from the use of a low quality product. For me, these were daily easy fixes but other may have had to send the product back. For the price though, I am satisfied.

Amazing!!!
This project is a great gift! I have it to my bf for our anniversary and he loved it. We have it displayed in our living room and our guests always comment on how nice it is. Highly recommend

Smells like mildew. Unhappy customer
The compass was ok quality but the box smelled like mildew - like grossly. Bought this as a gift for our son that just came home for Christmas after being away in the Navy for the last year. I didn’t have time to exchange it and really wanted him to have it because it should have been perfect - except the horrible smell of the wood box. I would recommend it only if you have the time to exchange if it comes in smelling like mildew. For the price, it was a total disappointment.
