Take the plunge and switch to a cup!
This is actually the second ruby cup I've bought. I've had such a good experience with my current one that I wanted another as spare. I found that the folding instructions ruby provide didn't work well for me but after some trial and error managed to find one that's comfortable for me - just youtube folding techniques, there are loads. When you first see the cup it may look intimidating as it's obviously a lot bigger than a tampon but trust me, you will never look back once you get used to wearing it!One thing I will say is that if you choose a lighter colour, it will become stained. Not that it really matters as nobody's going to see it other than you. I've just bought a black one for this reason as my current one is light blue and despite sterilising and washing thoroughly it has become stained.

Game changer..
I've just used this for the first time, I was a bit sceptical about it but I managed to put it straight in first time which I jumped for joy about.I'm so happy not to be using tampons/pads anymore after 22 years!...Anyone that is worried or sceptical like I was about changing to one of these, DON'T BE it's so easy to put in and take out. I sit on the toilet to take mine out so I can relax my muscles. You cannot feel it at all and makes me happy that I'm not generating any plastic waste by using it. Winner!

Glad I gave it a second chance
I initially gave up and stuck with my cloth pads and tampons after a few issues with insertion but decided to give it another try when I had a particularly heavy month and so glad I did. I opted for the small size even though I've had 4 children and wouldn't want to go bigger.Pros.... No mess, no leaks, 8 hours of forgetting all about my period, easy once you've got the hang of it, can go to the toilet and only need to reposition it and no need to remove it which is a complete life changer for someone with inflammatory bowel disease. Comfortable and can barely feel itCons.... quite thick and hard to fold and insert at times, if you get the wrong angle it can press on your bladder, can be messy to reinsert if you're not able to wash the cup clean first eg in public toilets so I avoid changing it unless near a hand basinThis has been completely life changing, I wish I'd discovered cups sooner but now that I'm in perimenopause I'm looking for a softer brand due to dryness and cups not mixing well. I also think my daughter might struggle as a first time cup user with the Ruby cup so want to find something a bit smaller and softer to recommend to her so just purchased another brand to compare the two

I love my ruby cup!!
I've been putting off buying another cup for a while after using a few different brands in the past and none seeming quite right for me.I was using cloth pads for the past 2 years and although I still love them, the convenience was not there.I truly can say I love my ruby cup. It's made my periods so much easier and stress free.I still haven't mastered using my cup at night but small steps and I'm sure I'll get there!

Highly recommend
I was very sceptical about using a menstrual cup and to be completely honest- it was a nightmare at first. The first time i tried it, it probably took about 5min to put it in and dont even get me started on trying to get it out. With the time, however it became easier and easier. this is my first cup so cant compare but I found it very soft and comfortable. Seals well and had no leaking problems so far. Never going back to single use products

Amazing - would never go back
Found it difficult first few months as was completely unused to using a menstrual cup, but after encouragement from friends, I persevered and now I would never look back. Best choice was to just go for it and loved the ethical side of this brand as well as the opportunity to choose a colour other than white (which I knew would stain easily).

Lots of leakage
Bought the small ruby cup. Was hoping to replace my mooncup which I've had for 4 years successfully with no leakage. Since I've been using it I've noticed that every time I go to the bathroom there's leakage. It feels like the inside is folding because the silicone is not strong enough to hold its shape, hense the leakage. So disappointed as after reading all the reviews I was expecting this would be it for another few years. Wish I could return it lol

Easier and cleaner process than my reusable pads
This was my first menstrual cup and I was very happy it didn’t leak the first day and then it leaked a bit the next day (today, the 2nd day of my period). I secured the seal and everything but as it’s only the very beginning of the period, I’d need to use it longer to see if it continues to leak, despite not being full.
