Zumimall F5 is an excellent camera
I purchased a Zumimall GX2K and F5 camera back in January ’23. With exception of the Pan/Tilt/Zoom feature of the GX2K camera, both cameras work very similar to each other, and their performance is exceptional. The F5 will send me a notification 5 seconds after detecting motion, and typically rearms for the next detection 5 -10 seconds later. I currently have my record length set to 10 seconds because of testing the reset time, but in actuality, having the record length set to 20 or 30 seconds would show better coverage when movement is being captured.Standard Definition is a bit choppy, and could be tolerated, but why would you when High Definition is an option. Selecting HD produces an extremely high quality image and recording. Both daytime color images and nighttime B&W images are phenomenal. I have attached a late afternoon daytime, and a nighttime screenshot as examples. When originally purchased, I had an issue with an extended delay time (40-45sec) between detection and notification time. Emailing tech support took care of this issue in short order. After this, tech support sent a firmware update for both cameras. If I could go back, I would not have updated the firmware. The original firmware functioned and performed better than the update. I must say tech support was and is fantastic responding to my emails, answering any questions I have, and are amazingly prompt in doing so. More companies should embrace such customer concern and care.I am only powering my F5 camera by its internal battery. This camera covers my deck and screened-in porch. Normally there is an extremely low level of activity here. My original intention was to connect a solar panel to the camera for battery maintenance. However, the camera only consumes on average 6.5% of the battery per week. This will easily provide 3 months of coverage between required charging. The camera is in an easy access location, and installing a solar panel would draw more attention to the presence of a camera, so I decided it was more prudent to periodically charge the battery myself, than risk drawing more attention to the camera.Speaking of covering my deck/porch, the deck and porch are roughly 24’ in length. Half of this length is screened-in porch. The F5 will detect motion on the deck, right through the screen. The screen does not seem to hinder detection.I tried several other cameras before discovering the Zumimall cameras. I was not satisfied with any of those predecessors. Mainly because they advertised/marketed features of their cameras that in actuality were not available for use unless you purchased their monitoring service. In my book, this is an underhanded tactic that equates to lying, and shows disrespect to potential buyers.Zumimall offers monitoring service, and AI detection monitoring, but I have not looked into these options. I utilize 64gb micro SD cards in my cameras which are more than adequate for my needs. I believe they also allow you a 7-day cloud recording offer at no cost. As I understand, it is a shorter record length (non-adjustable), but does provide you with the ability to look back through a week’s worth of recording history if desired. Finally, I would like to report on their detection ability. Zumimall mentions about an 8m detection range for these cameras. My usage has shown these cameras detect motion well beyond this range. My cameras are setup for human detection only. They easily detect people 20-30m away on a regular basis. If I turn off human only detection, they will detect motion/activity beyond 30 meters. These are my first two Zumimall cameras. This sensitivity may be unusual for these cameras, but it is what I have experienced. These are simply amazing cameras. I am one of those very picky sorts of people. I am exceptionally pleased with both of these cameras. I will be purchasing several more cameras in the future to cover other areas of my property, and I feel quite certain those will also be Zumimall cameras.

Good cameras
These cameras are great I live in the hills of Tennessee. They have been through three seasons of snow, hail, summer heat, thunderstorms, bears playing with them etc. Yet these cameras keep working, they are amazing. My only complaint is it does take a while to charge them which isn’t too big an deal and I wish they had better infrared. I can see things at night but when they move, they tend to be blurry if they are raccoon size or smaller but keeping in mind it’s pitch black out there. Other than that I’ve tried other cameras and these have been the best so far. These pick up humans and the wildlife where other cameras struggle to pick up wildlife.

Easy Installation - Both on the wall and in the App
I have now had 3 cameras installed in my home for a little over a week. The cameras work wonderfully. I love how at night time, a light shines to alert people they are on camera. This seems to be a particularly powerful deterrent. Secondly, the phone app with notifications is clutch. The app truly makes everything very easy - we decided to pay for the cloud service which was only $3 per month; very reasonable. All in all, no complaints thus far. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a simple and affordable home security option. Also - up for two weeks using the stick-on option on an interior wall, and it's still secure!

Crap camera
I already have 4 NICGIGA security cameras with ADORCAM app and I am extremely happy with them. I just wanted to add 2 more cameras. Searching for WiFi battery operated security camera landed with Zumimall. Upon seeing "Amazon's Choice" and many thousands of reviews, I thought the choice was obvious and bought 2 ZUMIMALL cameras. I unsuccessfully spent over 2 days in "trying this and configuring that" to no avail. Below is the highlight of ZUMIMALL camera and ZUMIMALL app:1 - Memory insertion and removalInserting 128 GB SDXC memory card is a bit tricky but good luck in removing it. Once it is inside, it is extremely difficult (if not impossible) to remove. The notch needs to be redesigned to facilitate removal of the memory card.2 - Daytime human motion detection hit-and-missDetecting human motion (with sensitivity set to 8 out of 10 in the app) during daytime is hit-and-miss. It has mind of its own and works 50% of the time at best. Technically speaking, the security camera is supposed to go to sleep during no motion detection, however, it should wake up upon motion within a reasonable time period (under 5 seconds). NOPE! I walked right in front of the camera and waved both of my hands for literally 30 seconds. It finally woke up after I was completely gone away from the camera. After installing the first camera in my backyard (and turned it on after fully configuring it), I was in the process of installing the second one in my front yard. My wife emerged from backyard to front yard to see what I was doing and I was surprised that the backyard camera did NOT trigger and detect her motion during bright day.3 - Daytime motion detection lacking the substanceWhen the camera did finally detect human motion during daytime, I was ecstatic and immediately checked out the results. I was horrified to see that the app showed a couple of still snapshots of the beginning 5 seconds of the motion (while camera was still in process of fully waking up). The ending of the 30-second motion was detected via video which missed to capture the actual frontal body including face as I had already started walking away from the camera by then. This was to simulate a delivery person dropping a package at your front door.4 - Video qualityThe latest F5 model is supposed to be 2K. You would be lucky to get barely SD quality video. If you configure it to QHD, it would be a huge drag on the wakeup time and video recording quality is NOT QHD.5 - Battery lifeThe manufacturer claims the battery life being 2-6 months. Forget about it. After charging both cameras (plugged in using the supplied cable) for over 8 hours, the battery indicator showed 100%. After only 1 day of fumbling with the camera, the battery life very next day showed 91%. This means it used up 9% of the battery life for virtually no motion detection within 1 day. Simple math tells me that the fully charged battery would last no more than 11 days.6 - Night visionThe night vision is absolutely horrible. Completely dark. One of the main reasons to buy security camera is for nighttime vigilance and it failed miserably.7 - Zumimall appThe app user interface is subpar. It takes a long time to understand how to maneuver through the app.Needless to say that I am a professional engineer and a great handyman. This was an overall frustrating experience and my wife urged me to pack up the cameras to return as she noticed I spent an excessive time with great patience to remain optimistic. I sent a polite email to ZUMIMALL customer service which they did reply back within 1 day asking me to not post a negative review. I had enough reasons to return the cameras as I realized that they are just piece of crap.
