Good value for the money
Bought this to replace yet another broken plastic type filtered water faucet for our EcoPure system Faucet that was like $70.00 and junky, mostly plastic, that only lasted a year! So far so good on this one - unit feels solid, has actual metal in it, and the instructions + kit was very straight forward to install. The only con is the unit uses an actual steel nut to secure it to the sink and the threaded stem is pretty long...which made it challenging to get it mounted and then tightened in a very confined space (had to have my son hold the thing in place when I contorted myself under the sink to get it tightened....and I have long arms too! In the end it left me wondering if they would be better off with a wing nut or some kind of retention mechanism that was more 1 handed friendly (seen several that are plastic discs with wings...) I have only had the unit installed for a week or so however so far so good - I fully expect this to last years, rather than a year.
