A gym buddy that never lets me down…
This workout guide is amazing, before I bought this book I wouldn’t have a clue where to start! I would just turn up to the gym and hope that the piece of equipment was free that I needed.The beginning of the book is full of educational information that I like to re read when I need motivation.The workouts are awesome! The pictures are amazing, very helpful for form and if you need, there is also a link to follow. It is the ultimate beginners guide! I love it.The book itself is great quality. Hard back so it can handle to trip to and from the gym everyday (give or take a day/weekend here or there).I will most certainly be buying Volume 2!

Incredible and Effective!
This journal was a bit more expensive than other workout journals I looked at, so I bought it thinking that I would return it if it didn’t meet my expectations. I’m so glad I took a chance on it, because it has never crossed my mind to return it.I’m using this journal as someone with a moderately well-established workout habit and moderate knowledge of gyms and lifting. I have previously been using free printed workouts and free apps, and have never been in a position to afford personal training. But I love this book! I feel it would be a great fit for someone new to weightlifting, all the way through to someone who has been working out for years. There are descriptions of exercises and discussions about form that you can reference as needed, and I frequently do. The information and tracking at the beginning of the journal seems thorough and current - I can see the effort the creators put into the whole process.The quality of the book is excellent. The pages are thick, the binding is holding up well, and the pen loop is a nice touch as I’m always misplacing pens.The journal has taken what was a grudging habit of mine and turned it into a passion. I’m excited to lift in the morning. I stepped my workouts up from three a week to five because I wanted to do more. I’m seeing better results, even in the short time I’ve been using this. The combination of muscle groups and exercises specifically for those groups are providing a focus on all different areas of my body that I haven’t experienced before from app, class, or free printout. And this plan has given me the confidence to use machines and do exercises I would have skipped out of intimidation or embarrassment in the past. Sometimes I’m the only girl working out near a bunch of big, muscly guys, and it makes me chuckle.I’m definitely buying the next edition when this one is done!

great book to guide your workouts
I was at first really apprehensive about ordering this book but ended up going for it. At $50 it's pricey but after getting it and reading it over, looking at the workouts and looking at the links they give you for the workout movements, I think its money well spent. Did my first workout yesterday and wow, are my muscles sore. I'm the type of person that likes working out but I'm crap at remembering a workout plan, so the book is a great size to bring to the gym and look at if you forget what to do. It gives good tips to have the proper form on almost every page. It also gives some nutrition advice which is a nice bonus. I like that the cover is a muted browny grey colour so it's not super conspicuous when you've got it in the gym, though you shouldn't care if people look or not. Those who fail to plan, plan to fail.and

Great at home or gym workout book
I like someone to give me the instructions for my workout plan. This book gives me a daily instruction, keeps you accountable by checking off exactly what you do It is easy to read, easy to see what needs to be done and has pictures to show you how to do the exercises I would highly recommend this book and many of the others that they have offered You can take it to the gym or if you travel

Awesome - just what I wanted!
I was looking for a well laid out guide to follow - that was not an app.... I wanted to go to the gym, see my workout and follow it. I didn't want to aimlessly wander around the gym thinking about what machines to use. I was hesitant to purchase this at first because of the price, but it was well worth it! My partner and I go and do the exercises together. Its perfect! Highly recommend. We save big bucks since we don't have to go to expensive boot camp gyms. I wanted to do my own version on my own time. Awesome gym guidebook.

I freakin LOVE this book
I got this book last year and it sort of sat on my bookcase during this time. I finally weighed in and realized I had to make some changes. I decided to learn more about my calories and macros, and use this book as a guide to start my weightlifting journey. Let me tell you. This book is FANTASTIC. It has a lot of useful information up front and throughout. The workouts themselves are as difficult as you want them to be... meaning, they give you the workout, and you just have to show up and make it happen. they make it easy to track how you were doing in a previous workout compared to your current one, and guide you every step of the way. I have been doing these workouts 4x a week, watching my calorie intake and increasing my protein for the last 4 weeks, and I lost 6.5lbs of fat in the first 2 weeks (not sure about these last 2 weeks... Im undergoing fertility treatments which I think is messing with me, and Im due for a weigh in). I have already DEFINITELY noticed an improvement in my strength. I'm starting to learn what workouts work out what muscles and its becoming easier to navigate the gym with confidence. For those people who think the book is too big to bring around... I agree, lol, so I take a picture of my workout each day and write on the picture in my photos app on my iphone. I then sit down at the end of the day and write it all in my book, and plan my workouts for the next day. Overall, i'm super happy with this book. I paid for 4 sessions with a personal trainer one month ago, and this book has worked me out harder than she has lol. 10/10 recommend. You really do just have to show up at the gym and let the book guide you for the rest.
