Rugged. My goto pad since 2013
Do note the error in listing: the grey color pad is of smaller size. The mouse practically floats on this pad. Perfect for FPS gaming. Perfect for precision photo editing. I do both. The surface touch to the hand feels like it has micro bumps. I think they reduce friction and make the mouse feel like it's floating.I've used a similar concept pad from WOWPAD. WOWPAD seems to be made of softer plastic; the bumps wore down after a couple months' use. The mouse became very resistant to mouse movement. Allsop beats it hands down; friction seems to not increase with wear. Rugged.A copy of this pad lasts me for about 2 years. It eventually warps becoming unusable. Little heat from a laptop fan close to it is enough to warp it within days. To prolong its life, keep any source of heat away from it. If it gets direct sunlight from your window, it will warp quickly. You should always have it in the shade. It has a sticky back that helps to keep it in place. I use additional pieces of very thin double-sided tape under each corner to keep it even more secure.I always have backup copies of this pad. I've been using it almost exclusively since 2013.Nothing beat it in the my 30 years of mousing.

Oft repeated: Good until it isn't
This is the 3rd time I bought this pad. Each one has lasted me 9-16 months then curled up. The consensus among the review is it's heat related but I don't believe so; I work in a cool (68 deg) environment and there is no laptop exhaust near the pad, only my own body heat.I've tried 3M spray adhesive (after cleaning off the existing adhesive and desk), double-sided tape, and even the "sandwich it between 2 flat surfaces and bake at 250deg in the oven" method to get it to flatten out but nothing has worked for more than a couple of weeks. The funniest, most telling, review I read suggested these should be a subscription item because you need to constantly replace them.I'm not sure I'm going to shell out for another one. I REALLY like it, it feels non-existent (no lip to cut off circulation to your wrist) and the laser on the mouse just absolutely ADORES it... until it starts to curl and lose reflectivity. I did buy one not long ago but left it's adhesive backing on it to see if that helps. While it slides around it's hasn't curled yet (but it's only been a few months and it's not my every-day desk).

Thin mouse pad with a good, non-slip back
Very good, thin mouse pad that won't move around.I'm using a Razer DeathAdder Elite with this mouse pad and am having no tracking errors that I can detect. The mouse facing surface is textured and low drag while the desk facing surface is sticky enough that it won't move without you intending to move it.The only drawback is that you will feel any random debris that gets between the mouse and pad. This is correctable with a quick lift of the mouse and wipe of the surface.

Great until it warped and became unusable
For a while, I loved this mouse pad. It stayed put but was easy to reposition as needed. It was very slim and comfortable to use despite being a harder plastic. The mouse worked great on it. Then one day, maybe three months after I started using it, it started to warp so it wouldn't lay flat on the table anymore. It stopped staying put, and kept curling under. Tried various things to flatten it out again, but to no avail: It was garbage at that point. So I can't really recommend it. It was great until it was terrible.

Same issue as everyone else.... warps after a short time.
For the price, it's a great surface for mousing. But Amazon should offer a subscription for it, because you'll bee needing a new one every couple of months. I even used spray adhesive on the back thinking that if I can just get this to stick to my desk and stay flat, I'll give up on being able to move it. No deal. The spray adhesive just pulled off the "non slip" coating on the back and allowed it to bend anyway. Luckily there are tons of other options out there and they're relatively inexpensive.

Extremely thin and hard mousepad
This 'pad' is really a thin hard surface for a laser mouse to track on; very 'slippery'. BUT this is Exactly what I have been looking for! this is perfect for a slide out extension or surface that you wouldn't want to scratch up. will not curl or peel with use.

Smooth and thin
This mousepad is insanely thin. The surface is a hard, fine grain texture. The last time I used a mousepad has been nearly a decade, with the old trusty cloth top and foam rubber backing. I was an avid gamer, and my hands used to sweat a lot during intense gaming sessions which caused some icky build up. I decided to ditch the mousepad entirely and use my desk's faux wooden surface. Fast forward some years and the wooden surface is bumpy/stripped. My mouse has been jumping around lately which started to inhibit my productivity.I wanted to find a thin, sleek mousepad. I saw the 3M precision mousepad that has hundreds of reviews on Amazon, however the idea of a sticky note backing leaving residue on my desk deterred me away. I found this mousepad with only 1 reviewer that did not like the thinness but complimented its functionality. I decided to give this mousepad a go, and I must say, it is one of the best impulse decisions I've made! I have a regular, wireless laser Logitech mouse, and it doesn't jump. I imagine a dedicated high DPI gaming mouse would do well on this type of mousepad, but nothing does beat the cloth type fabric texture of an old pad. Otherwise, the mouse glides smoothly and you can easily wipe off and clean any residue from the mousepad. The backing is a slight rubber that sticks to any hard surface, so it doesn't slide off unless you take it off on purpose.I highly recommend this brand's mousepads!
