Best Value for Brake Shoe Replacement
Very easy to install, tool provided, eliminated squealing of brakes. Installation of new brake pads was worth the time, effort, and cost. It made me want to ride the bike again regularly. It was about the lowest cost pads available for the type of brake pad I needed, and was shipped promptly, arriving in a reasonable time frame. I will enjoy bike riding again for some time. When installing, take care to squeeze brake before tightening the pad, in order to align the pad properly with the rim.

Better options available for only a little more. Seemingly minor features make big differences.
These are a good option if you are on a very tight budget, but for only a couple of dollars more there is at least one other pair that works better. To be clear, these work fine - they stop adequately on my very low-powered e-bike (250W motor), I do feel they are a little soft and I wind-up squeezing harder. I'm comparing this to an identical bike that I have the other set of overnight/one-day brakes. I feel there is about a foot difference when coming to a stop traveling at ~12 mph to the other pair. (I tend not to ride much faster than that because of traffic considerations.) If you tend to ride faster than that or up/down hills, I recommend upgrading. Here are my main gripes - the angled grooves ("water guide") on it make it hard to ascertain wear without pulling the brake away. The same grooves don't help any better with removing water than straight up/down cuts. The material is a bit softer, which probably makes them silent but does require squeezing harder to stop. (I guess you don't have to worry about toe angle with these...)The included 5mm Allen wrench is adequate for changing these brakes, but I'd avoid using it on other bolts because it is a bit sharper than sets you normally buy and will mar the bolt. (If I'm not in a rush, I reach for my Allen wrenches with ball ends to better maintain the bolts.)Overall these are good, but you may want to spend a little more for the better. They are great for most casual riders, but if you commute and these are part of your daily ride - I'd urge you to upgrade.

EZ Install and Quiet
I found a junk BMX bike in the trash to be picked up. The brakes were close to gone. These went right on, nice hardware, good braking, no squeaks.

Works great on my Trek MTB
I have a Trek 200 Navigator, and was able to replace the rear brakes in about 10 minutes. I didn't remove the wheel. I also used the original spacers instead of the included ones, but they seemed nice enough.I've had them on for several days, and used them on both dirt and paved surfaces. Today I even tried them out in the rain. I have had zero issues. They stop well and are quieter than the OEM brakes. I can't speak to longevity, but that's not a huge concern as they're priced right. I think this are probably perfect for the majority of users with v-brake systems.

Haven't crashed yet!
That's really all I have to say. Decent to install, been about a year of commuter biking including in rain/snow, and they still brake.

Knock off parts, fail to tighten properly
So save all of the cups and cones from your original pads when you install. When I went to install these by the time I stacked up all of the little washers, cones and cups that are necessary to align the pads there was not enough bolt left to tighten the nut, almost stripped it. I took a close look and realized that each little component was built just a tiny bit thicker than the original ones. When you add it all up it didn’t work. So I used all of the old washers, cones and cups and completed the install with no other problems. The brake pads are quiet and seem to work well. I think they are quieter because the rubber compound is softer than original so they may not last as long. We will see.
