Aleene'sAR70-2 Flexible Stretchable Fabric Glue, 4 oz., Multicolor

I needed flexible glue to coat the bottom of a set of racing shoes after I took the old rubber off and couldn’t get them resoled. They definitely need 2-3 DAYS to dry at 70 or higher temps or else they will be sticky to the surface they’re on. Probably not what most are going to use it for, but it rescued my $120 racing shoes from having to go into the trash even though the upper leather was fine

I purchased this in hopes of it working on my crocheted items to secure the yarn ends. It works great! I have used it on cotton and acrylic yarn to secure the ends. It dries clear with just a little bit of hardness. I do try and push my yarn ends under a stitch to hide them. Then I apply the glue under the stitch and that way it's not very noticeable.

I purchased this because it says it is for stretchable fabric and it is washable. The fine print says you can only hand wash and line dry. Since I was using this to make some no-sew face coverings, I wanted to be able to throw them in the washer and dryer with towels. I did test one that I washed on cold and dried on low heat, and the adhesive seemed to hold ok, but I ended up sewing the edges of the masks together just to be safe. Ultimately, the adhesive wasn't necessary, but it did help hold the pieces together and made sewing much easier since I didn't have to worry about stretching the layers unevenly. The adhesive dries a little stiff feeling, but does have some stretch. Use sparingly on dark fabric as it doesn't dry completely clear.

I don't use this glue all that often but when I do need it no other glue will work. (I have used it a number of times to repair book bindings.) I bought this to replace a bottle of the same glue that I finally used up over a period of about 15 years. Seriously, it lasted that long and didn't dry up or get clogged. Great price too.

Its Ok but not the duribility i needed

I was looking for soft glue that I could repair squishes with. This glue is not a *perfect* match for the foam of the squishies, but it works! It is definitely better than other glues for this purpose.

Used on what used to be my favorite shorts, to keep a slit from worsening or fraying that I caused in hem w/careless use of a utility knife. Unable to create the tiny opening in tip that I wanted, so ended up w/a glob of glue. I had to spread inside and outside the hem pocket with a wood coffee stirrer, and it saturated the fabric.While not drying totally stiff, I cannot imagine using this on fabric that's stretchy. And don't use on fabric that's anything but dark to start with.Very disappointing.

It was easy to use. Glue fabrics together. Good value for the money.
