Worth the money
Spent a little more money to go with the moen. Great quality! Love the look and matches our new bathroom perfectly. Super happy!

Really sleek and modern, not plastic!
So many crappy plastic handles out there. This one is metal and so is the trim plate! My contractor installed a positemp valve, but I had purchased a handle that didn't work with it. A frantic search brought me to this, and I'm glad it did. Love this handle even better than my first choice.It functions well, looks absolutely right next to my other choices, and was NOT plastic. I'm sorry but no matter how much you try, plastic doesn't fool the eye and it cheapens the whole room. So many manufacturers seem to be trying to make as much as they can out of plastic and I just hate the stuff!! Well this isn't. Tempted to buy 5 more for future potential remodels!

Direct replacement for existing Moen Fixture
Took about 10 minutes to install, including removal of the old fixture. This is a direct replacement for existing Moen fixtures and makes for a quick update. No caulking required, due to a nice rubber seal that is attached to the back of the trim piece.

A simple fix for faucet sticking out from wall
The tiler's plumber installed the Moen shower faucet incorrectly. You can see this by looking at the first picture . I saw lots of complaints about this problem. I was told to caulk it or it would cost lots to fix it by going through the wall behind my shower.Fortunately, I had my regular plumber come to fix it and all had to do was tighten the screws. The gasket is very thick and extends out from the plate to ensure a water tight fit thus it took more pressure to press the gasket down so it would fit tightly.The operation of the faucet is very smooth. It looks attractive and sleek.

updating a bathroom
We had a 1990's gold Moen faucet in our bathroom that needed replacing. When we took the old one off the wall we found the hole in the tile was bigger than we thought it was. Round trim kits did not work. Thought we might have to replace the Moen valve until we found this one. Covered the tile and fit the existing Moen posi temp valve perfect. So much better than the plastic trim kits Moen has for rehabing and looks much better too. Bathroom tub updated, no plumber needed.
