Q: how does this compare to Groom and Clean, which I have used for years? It got discontinued & has doubled in prices

Bryl Cream holds hair in place and it does not leave your hair with a cardboard texture after it dries . The next day just put a small amount of water on head and it still holds hair in p,lace and hair doesnt fell all 'crispy'.

No, it does not "flake," however as was the case for Brylcreem "original" ...a little dab will do ya.

No lingering smell. This product is pretty much odorless.
